Don't be a Foreigner to this board. We need more music to calm the savage beasts. -

Khalil Mack holding out... in Buffalo
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shaq and a 2020 1st. Contract 15m per for 5 years. 75m total with 30 guaranteed. Probably wouldn't be enough but that's it. -
That's exactly the way to do it. Throw the kid in the fire. If he has it under pressure, work with him and get him ready to start. If not, take it slow and ease the kid into the lineup when he's ready. Give the frontrunner more reps because the O is going to take time to gel. By game 1 we need a consistent O that can move the flags, hit a big play or 2 and not have to rely on the D to carry the team and win every game.

Never give a fully guaranteed deal. These guys need to earn money like the rest of the world. If they have no incentive, they have no motivation. It's been proven time and time again and none of these guys live up to the big money they get. All you get with guarantees are more Dareus situations. Mark my words by year 2 or 3 Cousins play will decline if not sooner, or he will be injured and miss a bunch of games.

3-5 is the absolute worst we can be at the halfway point to have a chance at the playoffs again. If we hit this point and have had good QB play then stick with who got us there and do your best to make a good 2nd half run. My guess is that if we are 3-5 it will be because of QB play and a lackluster offense. If this is the case, turn the reigns over to Allen and ride out the lumps.

Why I think the D will be dominant
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is the only fear. I think they could be really good, but special teams will have to aid in field position. If the O suffers, turns the ball over or can't at least string together a bunch of first downs, then it's going to take its toll on the D. I really hope Allen is a franchise QB. -
Looks like they are cricking the tires on the DL. May as well see if he has anything left.

Ditto on New Orleans as a #1. The stadium is close to the French Quarter and there is so much to do there. Great food and tons of fun little bars, galleries and restaurants and music in the streets. #2 Miami during the winter. Nothing like the beaches, warm water and hot girls everywhere, plus great nightlife. #3 (tie) San Francisco, Denver, Atlanta all have great atmosphere, trendy places to hang out and eat and wonderful architecture and character.

What is the most boring NFL city?
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to BUFFALOKIE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of all the NFL cities I've hung out or been to, I'd say Detroit is probably the worst. But as one guy said, I can have fun in any city. If we are talking about hanging out and areas by the stadium, then the Rams are down on the list too. No tailgate area, no atmosphere around the area. New Orleans is one of the best with Tampa Bay, Miami and San Francisco also fun places to hang out. But in my heart, nothing beats coming back to Buffalo for a game. -

Is your Dad the reason you’re a Bills fan?
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Back in 1971, I was 6 years old when I went to my first game with my dad, my grandpa and my 2 uncles. I got to sit with the cooler full of beer and sandwiches. Back in the day, you'd bring your own food and beers and I was hooked. We'd listen to games on the radio together if we couldn't make it to the game. Wow, have times changed. And my dad is the best reason I became a Bills fan. Home games were like my big, fat Buffalo wedding. My dad would bring the mobile home to the lot and we'd camp overnight. Get up early and start grilling. We'd have a tailgate with 45-55 people, then all charge into the stadium. Most of my best memories of Bills football were with my dad. -
Shady - OL losses matter
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope they gel quick and get the scheme down. I think by the second half of the season, we will see the future clearly for the OL and QB. If we get out of the first half at 3-5 or 4-4, we can make a run. 2-6 will be too hard to overcome. Something tells me 1 or 2 WR will step up and our TE's will help a lot. If Daboll can play call to keep the D's off balance, then this unit will blossom in 2019, and be serviceable in 2018.
