  1. Areas of major concern: O-line-- this is seriously scary right now. Losing Wood and Richie hurts an already poor line. I'm not sure if this problem is fixable. Pass Rush- it's been a long time since we had a consistent rush. With such bad line-backing play I don't see exotic blitz packages coming. Can Murphy add anything. Does Kyle have another big season left. If not, this may not be fixable either. Star is a no-show for big bucks so far. Maybe Dirty Harry helps. LB's and 2nd CB. We are getting burned on crossing routes consistently and often. Good QB's will pick us apart. It's hard to watch receivers crossing the middle so wide open then running for another 10-15 yds.
  2. Yup, that 10 yd out pattern is the death of him. For some reason Peterman just doesn't have the arm for it and it's one throw he can not make consistently. Against a first team defense he throws a pick or 2 a game. His release and decision making has been really good and he is definitely getting better. But damn, that out is a back breaker.
  3. that's very kind and a little too cute for the crap we saw tonight.
  4. There's nothing to relax about. this was really f'kin bad.
  5. So this weeks episode is going to be how Allen got "Embedded" into the turf. Presented by Pepsi. I'm going to love how they are going to try to spin this atrocity into anything positive in their hokey little behind the scenes wannabe "Hard Knocks"
  6. Just saw that Decker retired. More good news from Pats receivers. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/eight-year-nfl-veteran-eric-decker-announces-his-retirement-from-nfl/
  7. Even if we did find someone at this point, it would take time to gel and get cohesive. The O-line will be the hole in the boat this year and it will drown us. I never got the talk about Ducasse being adequate. Do they watch film?
  8. For all those saying it's only preseason, we should relax. Sorry but there is basic football that can be measured by anyone who knows the game and what we are watching is pathetic right now. Schemes aside, we are getting blown off the ball on both sides. It's hard to watch,
  9. Vontae is doggy doo. Man he sucks. We need to find another CB soon.
  10. The last time I recall a decent pass rush, the DC was Schwartz. Since he left it's been all downhill fast.
  11. Damn, I was actually excited for this game. We've got some serious O-line issues and the Defense has holes. Growing pains are a coming.
  12. Doesn't matter who the QB is if he gets beaten to a pulp in less than a second.
  13. what I want to see: O 1. O-line cohesion and communication. Being able to execute the plays and understanding their assignments. Not getting duped by stunts. 2. Allen making smart decision and good throws 3. Creative play calling and a solid run game. 4. Coleman and Zay stepping up and making plays. D 1. DT's plugging the run and DE containing in run game. 2. LB's not being taken advantage of in short passing game 3. Pressure on the QB
  14. If he takes 3-4years at 8-10m per, I'd do the deal. He's not worth 15m.
  15. He seems to like it here and if we develop a chemistry between KB and Allen, with all the cap space we have, we just may keep him around. You always need a solid #1.
  16. I say we keep them all and go our and land Mack. This is Clay's prove it year. KB stays and we lock him up. Hughes may see the door next year if Murphy stays healthy and they draft a DE in Rds 1-2 or we land Mack.
  17. we are all hoping for the best. We knew EJ would suck. TT had legs but I could never trust him. Josh I actually have hope for. Man it would be nice if he panned out and became the franchise QB we deserve. Nothing would make me happier than seeing the Bills win the AFC East and the Pats in the cellar going a sweet ass 6-10 with Brady in a body bag.
  18. Good article. I'm in the Groy camp too. Everything here just re-affirms it. I think the Bills are smart enough to see it. I'd love to see a Teller vs Ducasse breakdown.
  19. Tuh-rod is hurt and will lose his starting job and never get it back in Cleveland. Baker is already better.
  20. He's not entirely wrong. Neither will ever be a top 20 QB.. Allen has the potential to be a top 10 soon. Although I have seen improvement in Peterman and he can be a good back-up.
  21. Yeah, but this was initially before that. Tatum was always a fearsome force in the backfield. Receivers were afraid to go over the middle and that's what our coaches used to preach. Make them pay. Play physical, play hard.
