  1. I was thinking the same thing. Something needs to be punched.
  2. f'k these a-hole refs... that's 2 turnovers we got shafted on.
  3. They are below West Seneca Cubs little loop right now. Edmonds just got toasted by Ronnie Blatowski, 4' 8" 98 lb RB. Granted the kid has wheels.
  4. wtf. for all the talk about the offense sucking big d... the D is just as horrendous.
  5. not that this f'kin sh!t defense is helping anything.
  6. and Wood and Glenn and an FA pickup. Imagine. a line of: LT-Glenn, LG-Incognito, C-Wood, RG-Boone or Evans RT-Dawkins
  7. It does seem like the Bills want a lot of "process Yes Men." They believe the sum is better than individual parts. But the problem is the foundation of that sum needs to be "Star Level" players not "Star Lout." players. They will take their time and draft stars for the O. They are a Bosa away on D. Let's hope they can use some of that cap on the OL and WR.
  8. Bills blew a Peterson size load too early when they let AJ go for a 5th. We should have kept 3 with so many questions going into the season. But that's hindsight. Bring a vet in that can hold down the fort and mentor Allen. (Anderson, Moore) My peeve is that Bridgewater was there for the taking for the same cash as McCarron and the Bills didn't even make a strong move. Let's hope not. We need Allen for the year... no jinx on injuries.
  9. vested veteran- no waivers, he is a FA
  10. there's been worse ideas. though 7-10 yards should be plenty to give him 3 seconds.
  11. I'm trying to reserve judgement because I was not at practice this week. Perhaps Kerley and Allen were not connecting. He has shown some rapport with RayRay and Foster. I was hoping we'd bring more vet wR's in, not ship them out. By tomorrow at 1pm it well become clear. We need DT help too, so I'm hoping Mr. Thomas is better than Adolphus.
  12. It's not how we start, it's how we finish this year. If the team shows improvement, especially Allen, then the impression is that "the process" is moving forward according to plan. 0-6 with a 4-12 finish or 0-6 with a 6-10 finish would be considered a success. The team had overcome adversity, survived cap hell and laid a foundation for the future and secured a top 5-10 pick. Now 0-16, 1-15, 2-14, 3-13 could raise a few questions, but nothing would be considered until after the 2019 season. With a top 3 pick and 80m in spending if that team does not get to 8-8 or better, Pegula may give McBeane 2020 as a last year to prove it. Bottom line is that it rides on Allen's shoulders. If he proves to be the next Jim Kelly, we can be set for 7-10+ years. Don't tell Jim Kelley that. But admittedly he was a bit of a cocky SOB when he got here. And the Pats don't have any marginally better talent outside QB. Having the GOAT elevates everyone whether they are a "lunchpail". "faith man" "convict" or "JAG". Don't tell me Dorsett, Hogan and Burkhead are HOF's that drive fear into a Defense. Gronk is the weapon, everyone else is JAG.
  13. McD/Beaner know the rules and let it play against then. Wanting to create competition, they took a chance and failed so far. There are good vets out there to sign, there is still cap space , there was time in OTA's and preseason to get things settled and move forward with cohesion. It's If you are steering the Titanic into an iceberg, you can't blame the boat. With that said, it's the NFL and things can look very different week to week. Peterman did us no help. Let's see how we fare with Allen. If we are not competitive this week at home, they better bring in help soon.
  14. No one will ever earn that title... Peterman's feats of incompetence are unparalleled in the history of the game. We can only pray Brady's successor lives up to this title.
  15. Peterman has been a special kind of putrid. I don't think Allen can or will ever replicate how bad Peterman played.
  16. That doesn't bode well for the Bills pass rush.
  17. It's no biggie. The Bills felt better about their tackles than they did with the interior of the line. We all know that. They wanted Boettger on the PS but KC took a flier. He wasn't good enough for their active roster so we swiped him back. He is in a better position to contribute than Wesley. Meanwhile we had to let Lewis go to fill the void and we got him back. My real question is why haven't Joeckel, Evans or Boone been brought in for a tryout. They have to be better than our bottom feeders. I'd like to see us try to bring in Maclin, Dez or Britt too. Lots of good vets unemployed still.
  18. and that's if he decides to look at the playbook.
  19. Just puked eating crow feet. I've been very critical of the line, but most of this is on Peterman. He should not see an NFL field again. We need to bring a vet in asap. The line has it's problems but Peterman is not TT with his feet to mask it with a scramble after not being able to make reads and find secondary options. This is Josh's team now and I think he will fare much better. I can see KB's frustration. I hope Allen lights a fire under his ass and we get some competency on O this week. That alone should pick up the defense.
  20. 16-32. 253 yds 1 TD 1 INT. 36 Rush yds 1 TD Los Angeles 34 Buffalo 20 An improvement but well on our way to an 0-4 start, unfortunately. Man I hope I am wrong and eat crow. I want to eat crow, but that OL is putrid.
  21. Screw Kraperdick, but I like all of the OL and CB's and a few DT's that would make sense. It's time to improve this roster and give Allen a fighting chance.
  22. Miller graded out as the worst lineman last week and it wasn't that close. Groy was #2 crapper and Ducasse #3 suck job according to PFF.
  23. If the league clears him, I am not against it at all. He may feel like home again and get off the cliff.
  24. Okay, so we know that it's Allen time. These should be our next moves. 1. Move Groy to RG, Bodine to C. Miller has proven to be the weakest of the 5. He needs to hit the bench. I am hoping we bring in another G into the mix. Joeckel, Boone, Evans would be fine. Eventually work them into LG, and then let best of Groy/Bodine fight it out a C. 2. Activate Khari Lee. He's our best blocker at TE. He and Logan Thomas should be on the field more. They both offer additional protection and a quick outlet with good reach, as well as solid hands. 3. Use our RB's as receivers more with 2 back sets, no FB. Why do good teams seem to have RB's that gain 50-70+ yds on receptions each week. LA employs Gordon and Eckeler. NO uses Ingram and Kamara. ATL is a monster with Freeman and Coleman. CHI uses Howard and Cohen. Even the lowly Jets made a nice combo out of Powell and Crowell. Murphy and Shady should be on the field together. DiMarco is useless. 4. Design plays to move the pocket on occasion. The middle of our pass blocking is the weak link. Don't let teams just exploit a bullrush to trap Allen and make him run before he can see the field. Move him around, move receivers around, let the TE's and RB's be quick outlets. 5. While keeping the Defense moving, take some deep shots. But take them at the right time when you've set up plays to make the defense bite for trying to stack the box. 6. Spread the field. Be like Tommy B. He's got crap for WR's but spreads the field and gets everyone involved, so you have to account for everyone. KB. Kerley, Clay, Croom, Thomas, Zay, Murphy and Shady all need to get targeted and it has to be unpredictable. Exploit the matchups, give Josh 2-2.5 seconds and he will get the ball there. 7. Run with misdirection. Don't be so predictable with the straight forward runs. We need to scheme to get some space for Shady, Murphy and Ivory to run through with the threat of play action and quick strikes. Hopefully that works. They better be scheming up this or something better.
  25. right, wtf? to keep who? Washington, Foster? That 5th is worthless right now.
