If Robiske thinks he can get something out of Matthews and get him to buy in, then we need to bring him in asap and get him signed. I didn't remember this connection, but it's important and I'm hoping Robiske reaches out to the McD and Beane and convinces them it's worth the risk. We have the cap $$ and this would be the best use of it now. Plus once Matthews gets to know SuperJosh, he'll want the chance to pad his numbers to get a bigger contract next year. He'd immediately be our #2 and with KB dogging it, he may have a chance to get even more targets.

TN did not release him. He walked into the office, requested a release. When he didn't get it, he didn't show up to practice. As far as I know, he is sitting at home and still on a roster. I edited the comment to better reflect my thoughts. We could use those hands, especially with crappy KB the drop machine. I'm just not sure the Bills will want to go on a limb to alter their team chemistry.

Too bad. Walking out the way he did is a sign of weakness and lack of character. I finish every job contract I've had even when it means sacrificing my good for the good of the project or sacrificing for my team so they can move ahead. That's not "the process" and I don't think it will be welcomed here, especially after V Davis. Sad, because we could use him, especially if he's motivated.

Daboll needs to be creative with his use of Shady. Get him touches in open spaces. Let Ivory and Murphy pound the gut of the defense and wear them down. If it was me, I'd have Shady and Ivory in the backfield together. Use play action, even use them both with a 2 TE set where Shady acts as the flanker. We don't have great WR's anyway so lay off 3WR sets. I'd rotate in my WR's and make use of Croom and Clay setting the middle of the field. With a thunder and lighting running attack, quick precision passing to my TE's and RB's out of the backfield and keep them backed off with Foster and the deep ball. I'd try to get Zay downfield and hope that KB can make contested catches downfield too.

I thought it was a kitty call too, but he did go to the head. -

I love the Bucs uniforms. They look badass. On the other note, I have Fitz and Jackson tonight. Needs me some Fitzmagic since I sat him for Ryan (bad move this week) -
Allen has seemingly improved every half so far

You have to execute what's called and they both did a good job. -

any WR's potential trade targets?

I'd take a look at Tevin Coleman. He is FA after this year and ATL just drafted Ito Smith as a possible replacement. With Freeman in the fold, they might not want to take on the contract. He could be our version of Kamara and get 12-15 touches per game. Golden Tate is FA next year too. With the emergence of Golloday, DET may be in play. Enunwa is FA next year too, but the Jets might not want to deal in the div. And last but not least, put out feelers for Antonio Brown. If he buys in ( a big if). Allen will have his #1. Imagine next year Allen with WR --Brown, Johnson (UB Rd1), Tate and RB's Coleman, Ivory, Murphy. A beefed up OL with Marpet and Paradis. Keep the D together and draft another LB, CB, DE or pick up a few key FA... -
Foster Drops Another

I'd love to see a UB pick turn into a Bills star. We missed on Mack, let's not miss the next one. -

awesome job on that one, whoever created it. -
What if the line isn’t that bad?

Newhouse in as tackle eligible a lot too. If we think it's passable now, how about Marpet and Paradise in their and a OT taken in Rd2. WR #1 CB 3rd. -
I'm so glad the G-men crapped the bed but Barkley is a hell of a player. Somehow we still may have got Allen at 7. Jets would have taken Rosen over Allen.

Pats Septembers are teasers. Every year they lose 2 games early, then go on a 8-10 game tear when it counts. I hope those days are over.

Ragnow looks good for Lions. He's the C I was hoping we'd take, but if Edmonds pans out it's a wash.

Caption These: Josh Allen
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah but I changed it for the look in Josh's eye... " in sight". He sees the sky rockets go off in Buffalo as he leaps into the end zone. Well at least that's my take on it. -
Allen is a budding superstar

I don't think so, but there's been a few QB's that came hot out of the gates and cooled a bit. Watson, Prescott. However I think Allen has already showed us he's better than both. I'd take him over Darnold, Trubisky, Mariotta, Carr and Winston. If he remains in the conversation with Mahomes, Went and Goff then we did well. And none of them played better or more in year one so far, but it's a long season and teams will get tape on Allen. -
