Offensive Strategy Versus the Texans
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They rolled out Wentz a lot and had him making plays on the move. We need to do this will Allen more and get the TE's involved. I'd like to see Shady and Ivory in the backfield together a lot. I'd really love to see Allen finally hit a deep ball. KB and Zay need to catch everything thrown at them. -
No Free Agent Wide Receivers?

BOOM! My thoughts exactly. O'Leary, Streater and Brandon Reilly have all shown more than Foster, Holmes, Lee and RayRay. Thomas I understand they kept because he is good at reading and picking up protections. -
ahhhh..... reality.... this doesn't happen if we lose Shady and then do not pick up Bell. We also need some cohesion at WR. Our D is good enough to be a playoff team. We have a solid kicker who can nail the tough ones, but it is up to the Offense to become respectable. 17-20 its a game, can win 8-10 games , also if everyone stays healthy.

Bills Have Worked out FA WR Bennie Fowler

I'd be for this in a NY minute. Why Matthews and Maclin haven't been brought in to be looked at is hard to comprehend. KB is a loss of down player at this point. ZJ has a lot to learn. Holmes has no business being on any roster and Foster can't catch a cold in the Buffalo winter. We have to at least try something. What we are doing is not working. Better is what Buffalo03 and most of us agree on. Fowler is a notch below all three of these guys, but better than Holmes. -

Former Denver scrub who's been kicked around. Just our style. -
Here's my 2 cents. Allen starts but is on a short leash. Not that he loses his starting job, but if he's having a tough time and the game is moving fast, put Anderson in for a series of two to watch what's happening and recognize the pressures without being a piñata. Nobody said teams have to follow every rule. Last night I saw 2 QB's on the field at the same time in NO. It's called creatively using your best players to create mismatches and win games. We need to ride the momentum of our players, do different things. For my baseball analogy I look at my favorite team, the Oakland A's.. One of the lowest payrolls in baseball. 6 starting pitchers on IR and they go to the bullpen game with an opener to get through some games and end up winning 97 and being a playoff team. We don't need stars all over the field, what we need is some innovation. No one said we can't use Anderson and Allen in the same game. It's not against the rules.

Keeping three quarterbacks

DA might not be as short term as you think. He is 35. He may have 3-5 yrs left, especially if he is not absorbing punishment like Brady and Brees. He could be a Fitz for the Bills. -
