I Will Consider The Pats Game a Win If........
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we WIN! That's it. You win or you lose. Consolation prizes, participant trophies, moral victories are for losers who can't sack up and accept the fact they are losers. That's an excuse for being a loser. Winners don't accept losing in any form. -
Hue Jackson is the only thing making Buffalo coaching look good these days. He should have seen the door a long time ago. The man is an egotistical fool.

Watching Other NFL Teams Play
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to Jerome007's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watch other teams because of fan duel and my fantasy teams. We really are bottom feeders. Watching a Bills game is more like emotional torture at this point. Every time I see the good teams, I think why can't the Bills do that? Why don't the Bills run that play? Why don't the Bills make those plays? -
Without a doubt 1990-1993 Bills/Sabres/Knicks/Oakland A's all in the playoffs. It's never happened again for me. The Bills being my #1 team in my #1 sport made this easy. What a time to be a fan. Except for the misery of losing those Super Bowls. But every week in that era you could watch Bills football and see some great football on both sides of the ball. Now, it's so hard to sit through a game this year, especially when we have the ball.

TNF: Fish at Texans 8pm

AFC East is definitely the worst division in football. Pats are lucky they get to walk through a 6-0 division schedule which is good for home playoff games. -

5 TD's every 20 passes is certainly better than 5 picks. -

Yeah it definitely sucks that we screwed up getting Allen's mechanics fixed. He would be our hope to beat the Phins. Right now as bad as the Dolphins D looks our offense is still worse. -

and Fan Duel... I'd be winning some $$$ with that catch. 3 points down on money right now. Yeah and even with this, both teams trot out functional offenses. -

crap calls everywhere, the NFL really is taking a step down. If it weren't for Fantasy sports and legal betting, this sport would fail. It's just not the same game I grew up playing. -

Nice. Pegula still holding McD's hand. How sweet. Hopefully the Bills turn it around too. This Sabres team is actually fun to watch this year. Picking up Sheary and Skinner was huge. And Pommers is alive again. Getting scoring on the wings instead of just the C's was big for this club. Man I screwed up FanDule tonight. Had Hopkins as my MVP. So far he's an LVP and my winning streak is coming to an end. -

just tuned in from the Sabres. Great comeback win. Now let's see the fish get squished. Didn't take Lamar Miller on Fan Duel so no big money tonight. Seems like the refs are doing their usual sh$t job again. -
Me? Ok here we go! QB- First off, I would have brought Bridgewater in instead of McCarron.(same money) I would have also brought in an old vet like Anderson or Fitzpatrick and still drafted Allen (if we were stuck at 7) I also would take a look at Chase Daniel as a #2 option instead of the old vet. RB- no change but also would have made some effort to bring in Hyde and Crowell instead of Ivory as our #2 WR- I would have worked hard to sign Robinson, Richardson, Nelson or Crabtree to be our #1 or #2. Second tier I would have loved to bring in John Brown or Pryor. I'd still see if Pryor was available. I would have done my best to get Gordon instead of letting him run to the Pats. OT- I would have looked at Matt Tobin on the cheap to compete with Mills. OG- I would have invested heavily in Norwell (used Star's money) and signed Sitton. C- not much change, there was nothing out there Bodine is a good place-holder. This is a functional NFL offense which would still fit our cap. We'd spend about 7-9m more than what was spent and it would be worth it. DE- I understand the shot at Murphy and may do the same for 7m. Next on the list would have been Clayborne since this was a thin FA crop. DT- I'm looking at Wilkerson, Poe, Logan or Ngata for about 1/2 the price of Star and doing the same job. ILB- same OLB-same. I would have loved to bring Bradham back but he was too expensive. CB- I would have made sure we kept EJ Gaines. No Vontae and saved 1m My roster here is 4-3 or 5-2. Get rid of Beane and hire me now. I can make the process work. QB - Bridgewater/ Anderson or Daniel/Allen RB- Shady/ Crowell/Murphy WR- Richardson/Nelson/Pryor/Zay OL- Dawkins/Norwell/Bodine/Sitton/Tobin or Mills DE- Murphy/Kyle/Ngata or Poe/Hughes LB- Milano/Edmonds/Alexander DB- Te/Poyer/Hyde/EJ Gaines

The truth most likely is that by the time he was signed his family is already settled and his kids may be in some kind of pre-school. He's not going to make everyone move for a few months. He has the off-season to talk with his family and decide if he wants to play in Buffalo. This gives him time to feel out the city, bring his wife and kids out for a weekend or two, then decide what is in the best interest of the family for next year. A million or two goes a long way into living a comfortable life.

Have you seen this train wreck of a team play offense? It may be close for 1-2 quarters but eventually the D will wear down and lose heart when the offense forces 3-4 turnovers in their own zone and fails to score a TD again! The crowd will die down and Brady will make sure to pour salt into our wounds with a 350yd 3TD night and this eventually it becomes a blowout. This team is #1-- at delivering their own fate with bonehead mistakes.
