Neither AJ nor Peterman was the answer and never would be. Bills went cheap dumping TT's 16m and looking for a quick fix while they went after their franchise QB. Smart money would have signed Teddy B. Barkley wasn't available until a few weeks ago, so we can't factor that in. DA should have been here in camp. They had to measure the little 3 (JA/AJ/NP) against a vet to see what they had. AJ's play was so bad, that we couldn't even get a read on how pathetic Peterman was until the bullets started flying. By then it was too late and we lost the season. We all shuffled the blame from the OL, WR, TE and even the OC trying to figure out what went so wrong. Barkley let us see al plainly see that it was QB play and a few bad apples (KB/Clay,Ducasse) that were causing the problems. Now that we have fixed what we could, it's time to move forward full speed ahead and get as many wins as possible.

YES!!! Should have been done in the off-season or after the game #1 nightmare, but they had no choice after trading AJ. It's kind of ironic how the Bengals let Barkley go and we were just in time to bring him in healthy.

That's exactly how I feel. This Peterman love screwed up this season badly and the whiff on McCarron. I'm surprised, elated and relieved that Barkley stepped in and played the way he did. At 28, he and Allen can be a good 1-2 punch. It's time to remedy the mistakes and move forward. The Jets laid an egg, let's see how they fare the next four weeks. I personally don't care about a top 5 pick. I want wins. Good teams find elite talent no matter what their draft position. Ask KC, Pitt, NE, LA Chargers, NO, LA Rams.

I think Barkley-Foster hit this play in practice a few times and realized someone could hit him with the long ball. Allen-Foster just couldn't get the timing down. Peterson can't throw the pass and Anderson never got any chemistry with him because DA was building timing with KB/Zay/Clay etc... Meanwhile with Peterman taking snaps and missing, Barkley and Foster are working on the long ball and it's working. Foster gets called up and BAM!

A solid #3 stretch the field WR, that his ceiling. Zay as a #2 and we need to go get a true #1 and a dominant TE.

Also don't count out Pittsburgh, NE (unfortunately) and LA Chargers in the AFC and CHI town D in the NFC, perhaps Vikings.

Unfortunately it's not the Bills so not much else matters, but I do like the Saints and think they can give Brees one last title. Also anyone but NE

we have a long way to go. The schedule is favorable, but Peterson basically threw this season away, literally with his putrid play. This team should be 5-5 and in the thick of the playoff race. It's amazing how bad QB play can derail a team.

Amazing what being able to hit the deep threat does to a defense. Foster stepped up and needs to keep improving.

I'm going to give a game ball to Daboll. Getting Barkley ready and scheming open receivers on the first read is a job well done. Barkley has had protection and has not needed to go through progressions to find 2nd and 3rd option. WR's have got separation. Except crappy KB who still can't win a contested catch.
