Pregame thread: Wk 14 Jets at Bills
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Alright I had a breakdown to and finally picked up Zay and Josh on my fantasy roster on a few teams. Losing AJ Green, Beckham, Connor freed up some roster space. -
Clay will have bounce back game today
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to Dadonkadonk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the only thing that bounces back with Clay is the ball off the ground after it bounces off his hands, face, ass and chest. 4 targets, 1 catch 8 yds. Woo hoo worth the 38m. -
Bills sign WR Da’Mari Scott to active roster

Since when does someone need a pulse to be an upgrade over Benjamin. Watching him catch was like the NFL version of Weekend at Bernies. It was "Weekend at Benjies." -

Mock draft & FA (edited)

unless you are sure you identified the next Gurley or S Barkley, then no RB in rd 1. And you better be 100% sure he is a game changer who can carry your offense. Fournette hasn't proven it yet but McCaffrey is becoming a game changer in year 2 so you can add him to the list. You have to hit if you take an RB. -

Yup, then we need to find as many Love's as we've had Williams's -

If we take Love we have to bring back DeBeer. -
I'm with you on this. I was a bit skeptical of Daboll early in the year, but with Peterman and Anderson throwing to KB, Holmes and Zay with a patchwork OL any OC would be thinking WTF can I do? Run Shady, hit quick precision routes. Then KB drops them or can't separate. Holmes is useless. Zay is still adapting and Peterman sh*ts the bed with the pick 6 parties. Allen takes some time to get rolling (has a great day in Minnie) but gets hurt. We know his arm is really good. Unfortunately KB can't separate or make a contested catch. Shady lost a step and has no run blocking and Clay is useless or injured. Finally things click with Barkley stepping in and a little bit of competent QB play opens up the offense and makes everyone around better. Zay finds his grove. Foster is re-born. Mckenzie and Thompson add more stretch speed and this formula works for Josh to run and make plays. I'm excited to see what happens next year with a full off-season, some quality OL, a stud WR and an RB to take over for Shady. I'm loving where the D is headed and hopefully they continue to grow. With a true sack-machine DE, another stuffer at DT and a #2 CB and we are this years Bears and going to the playoffs for the foreseeable future.

Jonathan Taylor a Capable replacement?
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to Joeziehmer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's a list of RB's. http://www.espn.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/rushing/sort/rushingYards/year/2018/group/80 Interesting RB at #11 - Nico Evans ( Sr. 5'9" 211 lbs) played with Josh at Wyoming. Only carried 11 times in 2017 but has 1,325 yds and 6.5 per this year. Should be available in rounds 2-3. Maybe he goes higher since most of the top 10 RB's in yds are Soph. Miles Gaskin of Washington fits the process of McBeane's drafts. A 4 yr starter with over 1,200 yds each year. Very consistent on an inconsistent team over his 4 years. Henderson at Memphis is a Jr and is having an outrageous season, similar to Taylors. He may be the first RB off the board. -
The NFL has killed the Golden Goose - ITSELF!
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've actually enjoyed college games more than the pro games this year. The officiating is more consistent, the games have more passion and the fans really get into it. I love the marching bands in the stands, cheerleaders, die hards geared up and the true rivalries inside the major conferences. Conference championships and bowl games make Holiday football worth watching. Way better than the Jags-Titans Thursday. -
The NFL has killed the Golden Goose - ITSELF!

Yeah, absolutely. If it were not for Fantasy sports, my interest and watching NFL games would drop significantly. If one of these new leagues can compete and take over the NFL then I'd be ok with that. Add to it the Players Union, Agents and Managers who watered down the game through greed. It's time to put an end to contracts that are guaranteed and don't provide an incentive for the employee to work. The prima-donna athlete needs to be put to rest. -
I meant signed also. It shouldn't matter, it's messed up. If I get fired from work for doing a ***** job nobody pays me the rest of the year. What owner deserves to pay bad employees for screwing up their company. This needs to change asap. It literally gives him an incentive to suck so bad that the Bills drop him then double dip with a contender, prove himself, blame the Bills for his problems and sign next year for decent money. Totally f'd up any way you look at it.

Thursday Night Football?
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to RaoulDuke79's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it is kind of a boring game. And for my money, Josh is already way better than Mariota. The Qb ratings had JA at 26, Baker at 19. -
Yeah, not even including all of KB misfit misses. I wasn't a believer when we drafted him. I wanted Baker and was praying he'd drop. I wasn't huge on Darnold and figured Rosen was a bit more ready than Josh. One of my West Coast buddies who is a Wyoming fan called me immediately after the pick and said that I need to start loving on Allen now because he will be a franchise QB. I'm hoping and believing he was right. So far, call me impressed with the kid. He can play
-
So this fat-ass do nothing wanker can get paid twice for sucking his way out of town. If that is true the CBA, owners and players union need to get this fixed. What incentive does a player with a guaranteed contract have to play well. Benjamin basically gives no effort, sucks to the point the team is forced to drop him, then picks up a paycheck from that team, goes to another team and gets paid again. He finally performs well and cashes in again. This is madness! There is no way in any other profession on earth could you perform like this and not be punished.
