  1. Where do I start on this? There is a reason 32 teams passed on a player 7 times (some may consider that motley) There is a reason rookies take time to adjust to the pro game over seasoned vets who have adjusted to the speed of the game and been through the rigors of a 16 game season and stuck on rosters for multiple years. There is a reason star players get big contracts and perform at pro-bowl levels. Other take time to learn, to mature, to hone their craft. We may consider them motley.
  2. I am not as worried about this yet. But play calling and drops by Clay, KB and Zay would make these numbers a bit better. The Bills have done better in the Red Zone as the season progressed and Allen is doing a lot with his legs, as well as the McKittrick sweeps. I think we will see a lot more improvement next year with a WR who can win contested catches, a real TE and a better OL.
  3. Talk about needs. Wow, that is one motley crew and a good testament to what Allen can do. Shady/Ivory add some experience but that OL needs major reconstructive surgery. It should and will be the emphasis this off-season, as well as WR.
  4. .that lardass dropped a good 2-3 a game.
  5. Having the double twins "Josh Allens" would be sweet. But not sure he's going to last until we pick. Lots of mocks have LB JA going #3 to the NY Jets. Josh Allen tackling Josh Allen would be an annual thing.
  6. Bama is usually a pretty run heavy offense.
  7. Great plan. 1-2 are doable. #3 would love to double dip on Josh Allens but he will be gone by the time we pick at 8-12. Many people think he's going top 5.
  8. They all do. I think it's human nature. Once it's all guaranteed, the incentive to risk your health is gone and effort takes a step back to security and comfort.
  9. Tell that to the guys in the locker room. McD's post game speech and the energy in the locker room is contagious after a win, especially at home. That carries into the off-season. When a team finds a way to "win" it becomes part of the culture. You go into Foxborough and take out the Pats next week and you don't think that affects the core of this team moving forward. I will take that win over drafting 3 places higher any day of the week. Good teams find good players everywhere in the draft. Did 3 positions net Robert Foster? WIN! WIN!! WIN!!! at all costs. Fixed.
  10. I'm ready for a first round playoff exit this year followed by a 7-9 record in 2019 as the BUFFALO BILLS win the AFC East. 2019 AFC EAST Buffalo 11-5 NY Jets 9-7 NE Pats 7-9 Miami 6-10 This is followed by the announcement the TOM BRADY RETIRES at a broken down age 42. NE--- IT'S OVER!
  11. Man would it be sweet to knock these puppies down to the 4th seed behind Pitt. If not I'm hoping Baltimore or Indy go in as the 6th seed, go up to Foxboro and take them out. Indy's D played well today and is up to the task. Baltimore too. A good D can neuter the Pats. Gronk seems to be on his last legs. Brady is in decline. The run game is still finding it's legs. Edelman and Gordon need to be held in check with pressure on Mrs. Tom and it's time to take them down.
  12. pissed off or pissed on. they lost two in a row, let's pull out our package and make it 3.
  13. If JA runs like that at 260 watch out! He'll start bulldozing those safeties.
  14. They gave McCarron 5m per. . It's the going rate for a top notch backup who could be a starter. And it would keep him here for the foreseeable future.
  15. I'd love it if we sign Barkley for 2-3 years @ 5m per. He'd be our Foles (who is having a great game vs Rams tonight)
  16. I'm not sure either of these guys is the true #1 TE. James can't even beat out Vance MCDonald and Williams has been hurt a lot.
  17. Metzalers was our highlight TE and I think Everett would have been a real good one had he not had that horrific injury.
  18. The Defensive Ranking is based on yardage only. So when your poor tackling ST lets an opponent start on the 40-50 yd line or even in your territory, the D is giving up less yards than if the opponent had to drive 80+ yds to score. With all of Peterman and Anderson's INT's in their own territory, this D has had a lot less yards to defend before giving up points. The Bills are 15th in the NFL points allowed. These stats don't account for sacks, turnovers and red-zone efficiency, only yards. Yeah we haven't given up a lot of yards, but this Defense has not created enough INT (13th) , Sacks (23rd) Fumble Recoveries (11th) or game changing plays (0 DEF TD- tied for last in the league ) to win games like Chicago, Baltimore, Tennessee, Houston, Denver, Minnesota, Seattle, who I would say all have considerably better defenses and teams that the Bills. Just for kicks the Bills DST in fantasy football is 22nd. They may keep us in some games, but they haven't really won any either. We need to get better in all three phases to be a consistent playoff team.
  19. Bills D is still a mirage. Good but not the #1 D in the league. The numbers look better from playing on short fields due to some putrid special teams and offensive play.
  20. Clay's not even worth vet min. He has no presence at all on the field. He's all but vanished as a player this year.
  21. MASSIVE is an understatement, along with TE, OL, RB... this offense needs an overhaul. At least 5-7 new starters.
  22. McKittrick is back, good sign. Maybe it was vaginal cramps.
