  1. You got that. Glass Goodwin is not a #1 #2 or #3. He is a field stretching #4 at best. Its too bad that we lost both Salas and Sammy. Then Goodwin would be where he belonged as a #4. I was hoping Powell would step up, but he's not ready. Hunter is our best shot at a #2 until we get Sammy back.
  2. Love-- not yet. But he has earned my respect. Sacking Roman turns out to be a genius move and he has this defense playing very well. I think bringing in Ed Reed has been big. But credit goes to the boss for finding potential and coaching up the D. After game 2 I wanted to run him out of town, but Rex is proving me wrong. Playoff as the love will begin to grow.
  3. the prophet has spoken, now lead us to the promised land
  4. Trump Bills don't lost games Potty mouth fines, good old times Jills back on sidelines Trump Bills New Era Smash mouth ball, defensive wall Crush refs for bad calls
  5. I went on record as not a big fan of Rex. I gladly ate a first plate of crow after game 4. I am pleased with the progression of the Bills D after the Jets game. That game had me vomiting Rex all over my hardwood floors. If the defense keeps up their recent play and shuts down the Pats at full strength, I will give Ryan the credit he deserves and anoint him defensive King again. There are still concerns about this team, but winning cures a lot of ills and watching Bills games has been fun again the last 3 weeks, especially sitting in the Coliseum with 20 of my Bills friend fans. Rex has almost learned to keep his mouth shut, but he is still Rex. Firing Roman turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Lynn is a much better play caller. That said, TT needs to learn to scan the field better and going 6-21 to Goodwin is not a good sign. Woods is definitely not a #1 and i hope Hunter can help. Without Shady I don't know where we would be. He has earned his money this year. Some of those shifty cuts remind me of Barry Sanders. I love my Bills and really hope they can end the drought.
  6. Tyrod is 6-21 when throwing to Goodwin. That is bad. They definitely need improvement here. It's nice to see Clay used more and Woods and Powell have kind of disappeared.
  7. Typical LA crowd. The stadium was half empty in the first quarter and it was hellishly hot. But the Bills fans were going nuts. The visitor side of the stadium was about 50/50 Bills fans. The Rams fans were great and we all were having a good time. By the second half the stadium was full and it was loud. The Bills stepped up and we were cheering loud and proud. Thank God it cooled down by the 4th quarter. I was afraid the Bills would wilt from the heat but we stood tall and Bills fans were proud. Overall, it was a great experience. The Rams have good natured fans, but the stadium is not fit for the NFL. It was very congested and over priced. $16 beers and $5 waters and $200 tickets, but to see the Bills win in LA was worth it.
  8. not the worst idea, but let's see what he does the next few weeks first.
  9. The Rams are tough on D. Aaron Donald is a beast. No wonder Wood was so complimentary. He's in for a big challenge. On offense, Gurley is also a beast. We need to box him in and force Keenum into mistakes. The Rams WR are average. The Bills can not come out flat. I will be there going nuts for my Bills. prediction: Buffalo 20 Los Angeles 17
  10. that's the Pats #1 Punter, #1 Kicker, #1 QB, #1 TE. That may be enough to make them #1 again. If their defense continues to play at a high level and the O-Line can give Brady enough time, this is a tough team to beat. Game #2 we will have to play lights out on D and get a few breaks to win. We have to hit Brady hard and often.
  11. Rex, Meh! He finally did some of his job. If you really watched today, Brady would have made a lot of those throws that Brisset missed and he would have spread the field with Gronk and Bennett. Not to mention Edelman and Hogan. This opens up the running game for Blount and that is going to be harder to stop. I'm very happy we won, but we still have to keep improving. I give Rex kudos for not folding up. Firing Roman and opening up TT has been a big plus. The defense should only get better and special teams have been solid. We need to keep attacking offenses. Rex needs to stay humble and get the players ready to play up to expectations. At least the season is not over in October and I can enjoy the next four weeks of football, especially next week when I sit in the crowd at the Coliseum in LA wearing my Bills gear!
  12. The Rams are 3-1 with a great D and the Bills don't always show up on the West Coast. This is far from a give me. I will be there in Bills gear going nuts for our boys and I truly hope they win.
  13. Same here.. Bills Backer LA tailgate.
  14. I will gladly have my meal of crow, humble pie desert and wash it down with some sour milk. I am watching the NFL replay and damn this is sweet. I thought we'd lose but a shutout is oh so sweet. I like the defensive adjustments and saying bye to Roman has been a revelation. Imagine a Romanless Jets and Baltimore games and we'd be singing another tune now. This shutout I will also credit Rex. I hope this team continues to improve.
  15. THIS!! Agreed, since Rusty left we have had an increase in players on IR.
  16. yup! Gragg was starting to come into his own. I thought he'd be a great #2 this year and a demon on special teams. this was a bigger loss than we think
  17. His impact for his placement is less than stellar, but here's to hoping he proves us wrong and plays light out someday.
  18. Not sold on Rex yet... Happy with yesterday!!! YESS!!!! But is Rex the long term stability for this franchise. I'm not sure. We need consistency.
  19. The Roll is how winning teams do it, pole smoker. They build a winning foundation. A winning tradition. They go out and believe they can win. They enforce their will on others. It's a mindset that the Bills do not have yet. They win in New England and the confidence carries over. They begin to believe in themselves and build the "bully" Rex promised. Seasons don't swing unless you let them. You really think the season is swinging different ways in New England. NO!!! They can be down to their third quarterback and go and shut down a playoff team. That's what winners do! I'd rather be a pussycat running wild ripping my claws through ripe dolphin, jet and patriot meat, than a swinger trying to wax poles in the men's room of New Era Field.
  20. went to church and watched later on NFL rewind
  21. Now that we got the monkey off our back, we need to get fired up to take care of business I think if we win next week, the momentum will carry us to 6-4 and put us in position to make a run 10/02 @ New England Patriots WIN 10/09 @ Los Angeles Rams WIN 10/16 SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS WIN 10/23 @ Miami Dolphins WIN 10/30 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS LOSS 11/07 @ Seattle Seahawks LOSS 11/20 @ Cincinnati Bengals WIN If we lose next week, I think its going to be tough to get the mojo back and we will have a letdown in LA which would suck because I will be there watching with 20 other LA Bills Fans. Going into a tough 4 game set at 2-4 will be tough to overcome and from there we cruise to 2-8 10/02 @ New England Patriots LOSS 10/09 @ Los Angeles Rams LOSS 10/16 SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS WIN 10/23 @ Miami Dolphins LOSS 10/30 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS LOSS 11/07 @ Seattle Seahawks LOSS 11/20 @ Cincinnati Bengals LOSS Next week is the biggest game of the season.
  22. Sadly we really could be 3-0. I wonder how much of a problem Roman was for the offense. This looked like a different team. And for the record I am still not on the Rex train. He's got a lot to prove still, but I'm rooting for Rex to shut his mouth and get'r dun.
