Great find. But it's always a crapshoot with high school kids and football. You never know how they will develop. It's not like basketball where there is a 17 or 18yr old kid that stands out and you know he is going to be a bonafide star. Not so much with football. Look at the draft and how many first rounders don't make it and that is with four more years of eyes all over these kids.

We just can not afford to lose talent on D. I want to see what Ragland and Shaq can do, but we still need Z Brown and Lorax. The secondary was weak without AW and it will really topple if Gilmore walks. I say franchise him and get the others signed. Draft a safety early. Draft a WR early and keep TT for now. I think the Jets are going to take D. Watson and it's not worth trading up.

My take was and is that the problem was Rex. We had the roster, we had the talent, we had the drive and Rex came in and ran a clown camp. His big mouth bs tanked us and he couldn't see the forest through the trees. If Rex had any sense he would have been a head coach first and realized his roster was built for a 4-3. He should have let Schwartz continue to do what he was doing and not let his bravado take over to try to implement an entirely new scheme. This was our downfall. Rex tinkered with things that were not broke and in the process broke them. He lucked into having A Lynn around to fix the O, but opened the coffin by bringing in his (*^*&%^$^#brother. Rob had already tanked with his last 2 defenses, what made anyone think he could improve ours. Sadly the window of opportunity slowly closed and it is going to take some incredible coaching, superb drafting and identifying the right free agents to get back on track. 2017 is probably a wash.

BINGO!! God I hope McD and his crew can make it work here for once. We could use some good coaching. The talent level is so close in the NFL that good coaching, game planning and game time adjustments are the difference between the playoffs and a top 10 pick. I'm getting tired of top ten picks.

Go figure. Lorax leads tacklers with 7 plus a pick. Z Brown also has 7 and Gilmore gets a pick. For the life of me, outside of Rex being a complete and utter dumbass, this defense should have lead us to the playoffs. We need to retain these guys and build on the D and not screw up the offense.

Back then, a Bills loss ruined my day. I was young and full of fire. Now, it's just stings and I shake it off knowing it's Bills business as usual. I beg to differ. A healthy Hogan and we don't see Goodwin as a #2 this year. Watching Goodwin, Powell, Tate and Hunter getting meaningful time at WR was just not right. None of those chumps is going to catch 200 yds and 2 td's from Brady on their best day. NE -1 in wins without 7/11 and the Bills get +2 with him. We would have won a few of those tight games keeping drives alive, taking pressure off the D, etc...

We could have used Hogan this year. It just shows what a competent QB can go with another weapon. Sammy, Woods and Hogan would look good with Shady and Clay. TT on the run and our OLine. That's a tough O and with Rex running the D how could we have gone wrong?

I'm ok with a restructured contract for 3yrs. If anyone comes along that is better, we can move on. If not, at least we have a qb who is not in the bottom 10. Tyrod is mid-tier and he has enough strengths to build around. Let's not forget the D and Rex cost us the playoffs.
