  1. Call me crazy, but I am in the Howard, McCaffrey camp. Take Howard at 10 or trade down and grab McCaffrey. Either player fills 2 holes on offense with their versatility. Howard gives you a receiving threat and helps solidify the RT position with strong blocking. McCaffrey becomes the #2 running back and a slot reciever. Either one creates mismatches and gives us a very versatile offense. I can imagine Shady and McCaffrey in the backfield, putting one in motion and creating confusion on the defense. Having Howard and Clay would also create more running room and have mismatches in the seams. The only problems then becomes "Can Tyrod really read the field and make throws in the middle?" If he can't we are still set up on O and can take a QB in the first in '18. Just hope Shady's legs stay fresh that long.
  2. That's not going to happen. The Pats are a three horse backfield. TD Mike will move into Blount's position and do well. Maybe 800-900 yds 8-9 TD's. Lewis and White will get a lot of passes out of the backfield. Remember when Shady was hurt, Gilly could not carry the O. The more carries he got the less efficient he was. Either way, I wish we would have tendered the 2nd. Another dumb Bills move.
  3. Bills Football 2017 slogans. "Here We Go Again!" "The Heartache Is Real" "We Know Football! We Just Don't Play It Well." "Bills Football: Where Moral Victories Count!" "Bills Football: Where Winning the Coin Toss is A Step in the Right Direction!" "New Era, Same Stench" "We Never Lose... Comp Picks!" "You're in Bills Country. Suck It Up Loser."
  4. I think Kevin Everett would be great. I was at the game where he broke his back and it was awful. To see him triumphantly lead the charge would be so cool and inspirational.
  5. BB would deflate this thread like one of Brady's balls.
  6. i think it is almost a necessity to have a second favorite team if you love football. Being a Bills fan will make you suffer. For over forty years I've sucked up watching the pathetic display of ineptitude we call Bills football. Every year I get my hopes up, follow this board and watch every game. The truth is, it is a painful habit full of disappointment. Playing fantasy football and having other teams to cheer for let's me enjoy more games without the emotional attachment I have for the Bills.
  7. I may be in the minority but I would love OJ Howard. He's a monster blocker and receiver and would add a threat to our offense that we have never really had. Howard would impact the O more than Davis or Williams, especially since we want to be dominant running the ball. I think he could be the safety valve we wished Clay would be and be the 5-6 catch 100yd 1TD receiver that opens the field up for the run game and for Sammy.
  8. I only clicked on this stupid thread to see how many people would rip the poster a new a-hole for posting such stupidity, even on such a stupid day.
  9. Oh how I wish this could happen. But I live on planet earth and root for the Buffalo Bills. #REALITYCHECK
  10. in the right context. yes, they are funny. We could have every pick in the first round and still not beat the Patriots.
  11. I agree. The key is to get after him. Hit him hard and hit him often. He will make plays, but I'd rather take a shot and physically wear him down than sit back and let him pick us apart. Send 5 from all over the field and make sure he takes a hard hit at least 50% of the time.
  12. I can't stand the color rush theme. The colors are too much and they look like **** on tv
  13. Flashes of Bo Derek
  14. I'd take it. Gordon and a 4th to move up 2 spots. That and drafting OJ Howard would really help the offense explode. #Dreams.
  15. Glenn doesn't have to agree to anything. He follows what the coaches tell him. That's his job. If the coaches want him at RT, he's an RT. If they want him at RG then he plays RG. We have to hope the coaches know the best positions to get the max results from this line.
  16. All hate starts and ends with the Patriots. Other despised teams. Dolphins- and I live in Miami Cowboys - Super Bowl nightmares Teams I also like Falcons Packers Raiders
  17. this dumb ass thread makes me want to cry.... we !@#$ed up so many times it's laughable.
  18. I was thinking the same thing. I think Walt makes strides in year 2.
  19. sick. this lump should not be allowed to make money from football. he needs to bag groceries.
  20. EJ is a great kid and I wish him the best. It's unfortunate that he wasn't able to live up to expectations, but if he can grab a paycheck from any team he is truly blessed. He'll make more in a year sitting around than most people make busting ass for ten years.
  21. I'm kind of hoping for OJ Howard @10. I think he will be a dominant blocker and Gronk type receiver. These guys don't grow on trees so I'd take a shot at him then go S, DB in rounds 2-3, WR in 4. I am counting Howard as a WR because he will be such a versatile weapon on offense.
  22. this guy is smoking sausages outside New Era
  23. 1. Excited 2. Drained After the draft I really thought Rex had the pieces he needed to make the D work. But Rex showed his true colors and ineptitude. This year is more hopeful, but I remain cautiously optimistic.
  24. I'd be ok. We have so many needs though but if Dennison thinks we can open up the run game with 2 TE sets then he's the best TE in the draft. If Hooker drops to 10, that would be my pick.
