  1. If Yates looks like roadkill next week, who may be cut or picked up that could be a solid #2. Peterman looks decent, but I would not want him to start a game this year.
  2. Yeah, I'd like to see him take a few shots, but the O-line probably wouldn't give him enough time.
  3. too many penalties for sure. it's been a curse again.
  4. I like McD's balls for going for it on 4th. Had Taiwan "getting cut" Jones held on to it, we'd be tied.
  5. I had to log in twice. Once for the NFL channel, then again for gamepass. I had to click on the options menu on top and log in.
  6. Is it me or does no one from the 2nd and 3rd team know the defense. They look bad. Missing tackles, over pursuing, out of position, letting the Vikes run and throw on them. Peterman looked ok but threw two bad passes. Last throw looked good. O-line looks a bit sketchy, especially the 2nd/3rd team. Hope no one gets hurt this year. We don't look like we have a lot of depth.
  7. yeah, it's strange. I have gamepass on my Roku tv and it is the Bills announcers. On my computer feed it is Vikings.
  8. reports are that EJ is looking good and will unseat Cook.
  9. No! Hope we get there and KC does not! A KC tank and we are all good.
  10. the reports of Yates looking like dog**** were well documented.
  11. Pats look great on paper, but everyone is gunning for them. I think Brady takes a step back, maybe even gets hurt. Hopefully the Bills sack his ass 7-8 times and knock the snot out of him.
  12. For me the Golden Age of football was 1989-1993. Everything else has been a mirage. Truth be told, I think the real golden age was from the '70's-90' before free agency, greed, advertisers and bull **** took over. Once the athletes became pampered prima donna's the luster of the real game wore off. Growing up in Buffalo, nothing felt as good as hitting the field in the blustery air of fall and knocking a few bodies around, whether it was a pickup game or a league game, football was just plain fun. I think the modern era took the fun out of the game.
  13. I think the Bills should step up and help our local hero. I am in Miami and I like getting my daily fix from the Astro Report.
  14. Everything is turning into a twitter shitter world. Instant gratification of news without foundation.
  15. you da man. thanks for being our eyes and ears
  16. I would think a solid #2 would be the barometer. If either starts and plays over .500, I would say success. Figuring that we deemed both worse than Yates and Peterman, but time will tell. I feel the same. I've never seen anyone read the field as poor, but if somehow he shines in Oakland, I would blame our coaches for the stunted development.
  17. is this a sign that it's the Bills coaching of QB's is the root of the problem. I think under it all, we have not had good QB scouts or coaches or offensive schemes for a number of years. My stomach still turns at the thought of "the guru" David Lee destroying any arm in his path. I hope Culley is better, but I am not holding my breath just yet. We just always seem to be a step behind with our offensive play calling and do everything to mask the weakness of our passing game. Since the K-gun days, I can not recall a Bills Offense that struck fear into opponents and caused them to game plan for our offense instead of our offense trying to adjust to the defensive game plan thrown at us. Run, run pass, punt. Run, run, pass, punt has been a staple for so long. If Tyrod did not have the legs he has and Shady was not Shady, we would be so screwed. I am a bit anxious to see what Dennison can do when the pads are on and the bullets are flying. Thoughts?
  18. thanks for the scoop. as a Bills fan in Miami, I can't bear to watch the dolphin trails.
  19. go for it. teasing is allowed until we make the playoffs.
  20. Eric Dickerson, Priest Holmes, Marcus Allen, Bo Jackson, Emmit Smith, OJ Simpson, Marshall Faulk, Terrell Davis, Thurman Thomas, Tony Dorsett, Earl Campbell, Walter Payton, LaDanian Tomlison and Jerome Bettis would ALL thrive in this era or any era of NFL Football.
