  1. Boy, the trades look silly tonight. Hope in the long term they work out.
  2. That's what I love seeing on our D. Knock that ball loose.
  3. We are the flip flop queens of the Queens City. Can never get both O and D on track since the '90's.
  4. Damn, seems like it is going to take awhile to get the passing game in gear.
  5. Tyrod looks bad. Defense looks good. Shady good. OL bad.
  6. It's so compressed. It has potential but needs a new mix to bring out the fullness. This feels like ska, not rock. But I just listened to the old one and it sucks, so good job. I'll take yours with a. remix any day.
  7. Several reporters suggest we trade Ragland to KC. I would want Alex Smith back since the Chiefs don't see him as their long term QB. I think he would be perfect for what Dennison wants to do. He's very efficient and surprisingly mobile at times. I think KC wouldn't do Ragland for Smith straight up, but I wouldn't add more than a 4th rd pick. Who else could we afford to throw in to make it happen? Philly Brown? Holmes? Ducasse?
  8. the only things that counts is wins and until the Bills pile them up higher than the Patsies, it's all talk and ****.
  9. Brady got passed on 6 times. I'm not saying he's Brady, but let's see how he pans out before shitting on him.
  10. I'm going Jerry Rice. Moss had some troubles and was a headache at times, so he goes down a notch for that, plus he has almost 600 LESS receptions. Larry Fitzgerald is my #2
  11. say your goodbyes son, he ain't coming back here.
  12. BINGO!!! Unless laugh-crying counts. Sometimes I do that when they spin my head into delirium with one of those classic last second losses when a win was in the bag.
  13. I also think that when teams stack the box, we will be able to spread them out with draws, roll-outs and some play action that takes advantage of our size at WR and TE. I think we will have a lot of moving pieces and choices for TT to spread the field with. How many times has Brady gone deep. He made a living out of dink and dunk.
  14. They also say that LA has been making inquiries since the spring. I am sure they weren't the only team. FO around the league had to know he was on the block.
  15. I think this goes back to scheme and players to fit into a system. This is what makes NE so good. Yeah, I know they have Brady, but they also have an offensive system that rotates players in without losing a step and Brady rarely stretches the field. So it will be interesting to see what he does with Brandon Cooks. On to the Bills. After watching the game, it seems to me that the staff feels they do not have the pass blocking to extend long plays and are going to rely on roll outs and hitting players in the seams. I think that's why they felt comfortable having two slot receivers in Boldin and Matthews come in. As much as Sammy has some elite skills, he is not going over the middle, he's not making the contested catches and fighting for the ball or taking hits. I think they are trying to retain Taylor to use his feet to buy some time, then unload the dump off or hit players in the seams keeping defenses off track with his ability to run. DeMarco and Tolbert are both very capable receivers in this type of system. So are Boldin, Matthews, Clay and Shady. J Will and Zay are being taught to find the open field and they have some good coaching to get them there. For the few shots we are take down the field to keep a defense honest go to Philly Brown, Streater and maybe Zay Jones plus Maybe Holmes. Bolden, Logan Thomas and Holmes are also red zone targets. In the overall scheme, I love Sammy but don't think his production warrants the contract he wants, or his skill set being complimentary to the team philosophy of offense Dennison wants to build. I feel it's going to be a run, stretch and pop into the seams kind of offense. Hopefully Tyrod picks up on it and plays lights out. If not, Peterman may be ready next year ready to compete with our 1st Rd QB.
  16. My take is that the front office did not think Sammy was going to be the man, nor did they want to force the ball to him all the time in a contract year. A balanced offense spreading it out and getting everyone involved while Shady is the workhorse. When I first heard about the trade, I was livid, but now that reality sunk in.. Here's the bigger picture. Boldin/Matthews/Jones + 2nd round pick > Sammy/Woods/Goodwin Tre/Gaines/Johnson/Wright = Gilmore/Darby/Robey, but we also add a 3rd round pick I think overall this will not affect 2017 as much as we thought it would and will be a big benefit in 2018 and beyond. +1 or -1 win in 2017, and we may not be done yet.
  17. My heartbeat is back to normal. I think the trades were planned together. The knew they had to find a WR if Sammy went to the Rams and it wasn't going to come from LA. After one pre-season game, it's hard to tell what our offense will really look like and if Sammy can hold up for 16 games. Gaines also had foot problems, so i am not sure what the Bills see in him. They must really like Tre and feel that the drop from Darby to Seymore/Johnson/Gaines is not that big, especially if our front four keep up the pressure. Hats off to Yarbrough for stepping up. The one to benefit from this is Boldin. He will get a lot of Sammy's touches. The true test however is the offensive scheme. Sammy was always crying to be the featured receiver in a team game, and he rarely shouldered that load consistently. With a huge contract looming, the brass probably thought they wanted to spread the ball more. This is probably not the end of the roster shakeup and I'll try to reserve judgement until game #1, when we see the full monty. I think the shock comes from everyone knowing how much we gave up for Sammy and attaching value to the potential we felt would be realized. But the truth of the matter is that he has not been Mike Evans, Odell or Jullio Jones for us, and I have a feeling that our front office never thought he would be. The other benefit I see is that Zay Jones sees that no one is untouchable, and Boldin takes him under his wing and shows him how to be a Hall of Famer and not a prima Donna. Jones may end up being like Boldin. He caught a lot of balls in college. My interest now is if Dareus is on the block and how he handles the no-nonsense approach our staff has as opposed to Rex's holiday approach.
  18. I was already having a bad day. Now this. There must be something about Sammy's foot we do not know about or we just moved in first place in the dumbfuk line.
  19. Good God son, get off the meds. Trubisky made hard throws, deep throws and accurate throws. Peterman made one nice throw, the td
  20. It was a great debut for a 5th round pick. He's what you think he is, a project. Trubisky, Watson, Kizer, were considerably better. They all made plays down the field. Peterman's TD toss was a beauty, but everything over the middle was behind or above his receivers. The rest were dump off's that Pop Warner QB's should make. It will be interesting to see how Mahomes fairs. I have hope for the kid, but I really hope we get our franchise guy next year. For all TT is, and I like him a lot, he still can not make all the throws to be the cornerstone of the franchise. I hope I am wrong and the rust comes off. TT's first 3 throws to Sammy were nice, then he crapped out for a bit. Nothing deep. I'm very anxious to see what Jones and Bolden bring next week. For all the talk of Streater, he was a no show. Same with Holmes. It's all pre-season and vanilla so we could all be wrong, but Pete's a #2, Yates needs to step up and earn his roster spot and TT needs to take the next step to be the man.
  21. #Waiver wire vets... I think we need to be looking for Tackles, QB, maybe TE, LB to upgrade the roster.
  22. if he's a service dog, you can take him anywhere.
  23. triple that... constant blitzing and missed blocks. it was kind of ugly to watch at times.
