yes, agreed Detroit looks pretty good on Defense so far. I think they may have a shot at the WC.

After seeing how Mike McCoy is using Semien in Denver. He has that offense clicking with a QB who is worse than TT. So I'm getting tired of all of the Tyrod blame. TT is far from elite, but this piss poor offense is on Dennison so far. MCCoy devised an offense to work to Semien's strengths. Let's compare O's Tyrod > Semien Shady > CJ Anderson Tolbert/DiMarco = Jamal Charles Oline is a wash J Matthews < D Thomas Zay = E Sanders Holmes = Latimer Talent wise both offenses are a wash. Last year Denver looked bad on O and in comes McCoy and it's a new breath of life. If McD could have enticed McC to come here, we would be singing a different tune and marching toward the playoffs. Remember, Rico was a 2nd or 3rd choice for OC. To me, Rico is on par with Hackett. There is a reason he was demoted twice in Denver, never did anything in Houston and was a QB coach in Baltimore. We lost a lot not landing McCoy as OC. I hate to see it, but if MCD wants to step it up, he starts looking for a new OC next year. Maybe we get our QB, maybe we don't, but there is worse offensive talent on half the AFC rosters. A better OC would go a long way to solving some problems. Let's see if Rico can adapt and get this offense rolling. I have my doubts.

I think NE has some holes that can and may be exploited. If Brady goes down, so do the Pats and he may be one hit away. Gronk won't play 16 games, Gilly is not a #1 RB. The WR are getting thinner. You can only dump so many passes off to J White. I also think their defense is bottom half. To me, the Raiders are the team to beat in the AFC if they stay healthy. It's a long 14 weeks to go. If the Bills can play to their strengths on offense, they may squeeze out 9-10 wins with this D. I can see NE lose @ TB, @Oak @ Pitt @Den. That's 5 losses. Buf, Mia or ATL need to take one in NE and they are 10-6.

I think it is time to unleash TT. He is a rare athlete for a QB and his legs are his strength. I don't know why we don't install more plays that keep the defense off guard. Roll him out, move the pocket, play a wishbone with Shady on option pitches. Play a little college ball. What do we have to lose. If we don't take advantage of TT's skill set, we are going to see what we did today. 8-9 in the box. I think our o-line has some mobility and getting Richie out in front on some swings could be fun. We have the athletes to spread the field, yet the only misdirection is the same old counter draw. I think we need to get creative and take advantage of our assets instead of playing to our liabilities. Any one else have some ideas to get this offense rolling.

Rico sucks.. that was an awful game plan.

Most alarming is McDermott

the only coaching in question is Rico. He needed to keep TT on the run and go 3-4 wide a lot more to open up the field for Shady. We do have Clay and Shady as outlets. Bad offensive game plan. Great D. Special teams didn't win or lose it. This is all on the offense. -
What we tend to forget is that despite TT being a bottom tier QB, we still had a top 10 offense. I think the offensive game plan today was terrible, as was TT and the Oline. Dawkins is not Glenn and Mills is a sieve. Miler has a ways to go, but overall I think we have the talent to be a 15-20 offense, maybe better. TT is better on the move and we need to use him as a dual threat until he falls or fails.

the bottom line is that with the pick we will get one of the top 30 players coming out of college. But I still think I'd rather have Mahomes. -
Well after two weeks of Bills football, it's time we come up with a few conclusions (some obvious) 1. REX SUCKS!! After seeing what the players on this defense are capable of, I get angry with how bad Rex f'ked up this defense. They did enough to win both games. Also listening to that assclown on MNF was bad. 2. The more things change, the more they stay the same. 3rd down defense has been the plague of the Bills for decades. They seem to lose guys in zone coverage and let receivers loose over the middle, or have a breakdown on a tackle and a play that should have been stopped for nothing turns into a momentum changing first down and keeps a drive alive. 3. We finally do have better coaching. McD wasn't perfect, but it's a step up. Unfortunately, I feel like it's Marrone all over with Dennison slowing down the offense. When will we learn to play to the strengths of our players. I realize that we will assemble a team that fits the system, right now we have to deal with Tyrod. He is NOT a pocket passer. He does not make quick decisions and a few months of coaching will not change 20 years of learning. We need to roll out TT more, spread the field with 3-4 wide and let Shady pick his hoies. Forcing him up the middle with this line against a stout D was a mistake. We did not game plan for Carolina's D and tried to force our offense. BIG MISTAKE. 4. This defense is for real. The Red Zone D was awesome and forcing the Panthers into 3 FG was enough to win. 6 sacks was a thing of beauty. 5. We have no cohesiveness between Tyrod and the WR. We do not have a #1 receiver on this roster. We have one #2 Matthews and a bunch of #3's and 4's. Losing Sammy and Boldin hurt more than we know. 6. The AFC East is up for grabs. The Jets suck. We get the Fins at the end of a schedule with no bye week for them. The Pats are tough but beatable. We just have to make the adjustments. I think we can split with them.

It's the damn offense. Sorry but you have to play to the strength of your players. If they let Tryod roll out more and throw on the run like the last drive, we would have moved the ball better all game and put some more points on the board. Keeping TT in the pocket is a mistake. If he's our QB, you need to gameplan for his strengths. -
