Good article. One other thing I noticed is that we never blitz our DB. Watching AZ get to the QB with a S 2x was nice. We have not mixed up coverages and sent any DB's on blitzes. We barely send LB's. We kind of sit back in our zones and hope the front 4 get some pressure and when they don't, the QB has all day and lanes open up to run or throw on us. This is especially troublesome on third and long, when QB's just wait until someone breaks open and fires a strike. No better example than Pringles 3rd down catch. We let Pringle beat us. Vomit worthy.

He's crushing it in AZ. I think Phillips and Lawson were both really valuable. Lawson contained the edge and was a good run stopper. Seems our guys are taking very wide paths to the QB and losing both contain and the ability to get in quick.

Sadly, you know who set a good edge, Lawson. Resigning Lawson and Phillips would have also offset the money given to Butler, Addison and Jefferson and kept the continuity on defense.

This has been the story of the year for all of our DL. They are outweighed by 30-60 lbs on average compared to the OL blocking them. We need some beef in the middle, not guys in the 285-300 lbs range and guys on the outside at 260-275 lbs.

That would be worth it. We need to find a difference maker or 2 on defense. We need that run stuffing DT. An LB who can attack anywhere on the field and a DE who can get sacks (no pressures) and contain on the edge.

This team reminds me of the '95 Bills. All around a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. The 2020 version has much better WR's/ CB/S but weaker RB/ DL/ LB's. If the defense gets back to last years level, we could make a really deep playoff run and win the AFC east.

This went from a weakness to a strength very quickly. I love the fact that all these guys are sure-handed. Gabe is a huge surprise and I love this kid more every week. We need to keep this group together for a title run. Diggs is everything that advertised as a #1 Brown is the perfect #2 for this team. Beasley is a stud for a #3. He's runs great routes, gets open and takes some hits over the middle. I'm almost in shock that our offense is finally clicking. It feels great to watch this team knowing they can come up with the big play. And the difference is having Diggs on the field. He elevates the talent around him and makes everyone better. If Moss can develop into a solid #2RB and Knox learns to catch, this offense can win the big one.
