Smith or one of Minny's QB's will work. Chase Daniel has looked solid too and he's not going to be playing with Brees still going strong. Might be an option. McCown could be good for a year, but that's a tough call, he's old.

Lose Holmes, take a flyer on Matthews if the price is right. He's been productive and buys in to what we are doing. We need a QB that can feed these guys.

Hogan has been doing well too. And Sammy did have 8TD's, just not a lot of catches or yards. Sammy, Hogan, Woods, Goodwin-- pretty solid group. I like Matthews and Benjamin. Thompson is ok, Holmes a major disappointment and Zay was terrible. We could use a good #2 and put Matthews in the slot and let Zay develop. Thompson stays as a deep threat and Holmes hits the road. I hope Streater improves and stays healthy and I want to see what Reilly can do. But we need a passer as a QB

Rudolph doesn't last until 20. If he does, let's hope he is the one who hits. Personally I feel there are too many QB needy teams this year to land our guy. We will be getting the #5-#7 rated passer. The NFL is lucky if #1-#3 pan out. Once in a while you hit on a Wilson, Brady or Prescott, but Dak has taken a step back and may not be "the franchise." The sad fact is we need a step up from Taylor, I just hope our staff gets it right. Peterman has not shown anything yet, but he's got some upside left in him.

NY Giants Miami Cindy Washington Chargers They are in the market and might pull the trigger early. To get the #5 QB we would need to trade up. Rosen, Darnold, Jackson, Allen, Mayfield, Rudolph and Finley, If one of these guys is left, is he really the franchise? Is he worth losing a 1st or 2nd for Who drops to #21. Would you bank the 2018 season on him? I say draft whoever falls or trade up if you absolutely believe this is your franchise QB. Then pick up a Vet who will throw downfield. As much as I want to blame Dennison, TT leaves plays all over the field. His avg time of release is 3.1 seconds. (dead last in the NFL) No coordinator can appear competent with that. I'd love Cousins, but he is too costly and will set the team back. Smith and Keenum seem to be the most viable options. If McCarron or Chase Daniel become available, they might be worth a shot. We are not in a great position to find our franchise QB in this draft, unless we pull a Texan sized move or Chief move and trade the farm to move up to the 4 spot. 3 or 4 QB's could go in the top 10 in this draft.

I felt like that too. Watching this offense was stomach churning. I felt like there was no way we'd score a td.

Maybe Keenum, McCown, Bradford, Bridgewater or Smith. Then see which QB is in play in the draft. I'd like to see Mayfield. But no rookie is going to get us over the hump. Let's hope Peterman improves. We've seen the best of TT and it's not good enough.
