  1. McKelvin has been having a great game so far
  2. I don't understand how you can only have 40 yards passing over 3 quarters of football....that's no easy feat.
  3. Trent is looking extremely shaky out there. This game reminds of the Cleveland monday nighter.
  4. That play proves my point....that wasn't on Trent. That play was a designed swing pass and Miami saw it coming from the start.
  5. most of the blame for the O has to be put on Gailey...play calling has been an absolute joke
  6. Absolutely disgusting result for having that kind of field position. Trent already looks shaken. Hey VA, any heads up on when that gameplan kicks in? Still waiting to see what kind of plays Gailey has been setting up??
  7. Looks like me and you were thinking the same thing on that one sven
  8. Terrible discipline by our D. I dont know how 5 players can't see a screen coming on 3rd and long. Great play by McKelvin to slow Fasano up.
  9. damn....poz popped ricky williams on that play
  10. Why send three there when we cant even get pressure with 4??
  11. Whitner looked like a high school DB on that play....no reaction whatsoever after Marshall turned for the ball
  12. Green didn't look great on that play but Edwards had room to step up. I have never seen a QB move less than Edwards in the pocket.
  13. now those were nice play calls....we should have been taking advantage of Miami's over aggressiveness from the start
  14. So Chan's gameplan is to throw for -1 yard and get 1st down in the first quarter just to set up plays later??
  15. Most people on here a just making observations on the game. I forgot that if someone says, "wow trent looked terrible on that play", they are essentially giving up on the year. Just curious.....what good things have you seen from the Bills so far??
  16. lmao.....had time and he throws a one yard check down
  17. I didn't know our o line could block two rushers coming of the back side...they did look like crap the two plays before that if thats what you were talking about
  18. The lack of pass rush has concerned me some this preseason, but like BigCat said, I hope it was due to the lack of blitz packages. I agree with you Billsvet that blitzing isn't the long term solution to generating a pass rush, but hopefully the Bills will do a better job during the regular season of disguising where that 4th man will be coming from. If anything, I'm more concerned about our run defense, because if we can't stop the run again this year then our pass rush really doesn't mean much. Majority of sacks come in long down and distance situations, and if our team is getting gashed on the ground were not going to see many of them. Here's a link to a pretty good article from Pat Kirwan on the blitz tendencies of teams from last season. It also discusses how more and more teams are spreading their offense out to counter blitzes. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d818e0966/printable/spread-offense-has-ability-to-help-teams-in-pass-protection-
  19. After the season he put in last year I wouldn't label Florence as a "serviceable nickel back". Florence should shine playing more man coverage, and he would be solid #2 CB on many teams in the league. I wouldn't call McKelvin a huge bust, at the least he's been a serviceable #2 when given the chance. McKelvin has all the physical tools to succeed, and hopefully with more reps comes less mental breakdowns. Using comparisons from the same draft as way to make your point is pretty weak too. By that logic Jonathan Stewart is also a bust because he's not Chris Johnson...who was taken later in the draft ala Rodgers Cromartie. Reggie Corner is also a serviceable nickel, however I don't think he is right for our new D. He has shown enough these past two seasons to warrant being on this team. However, I don't believe our new D will allow him to shine, as he operates better playing off his man in a zone. Not to mention, your ratings seem like they aren't taking into account where each player sits on the depth chart. Yea, every team would love to have four #1 CBs, but that's not gonna happen. If you were to compare McKelvin to other nickel CBs around the league you would be hard pressed to find 5 who are better.
  20. That WR corps may become a little crowded for a player who wants the ball as much as Housh. Derrick Mason is still going to get his targets, and Boldin has more left in the tank than T.J. But if T.J can keep his ego in check the Ravens should be able to come away with their division.
  21. Trent needs to get rid of that before taking that hit
  22. Then the Colts backups will have beaten the Bills backups, and nothing more. This team does suck, but it seems as if people are forgetting that we are starting our 3rd string QB, 3rd and 4th CBs, we have 3 right guards placed on IR, 2 tackles are done for the year, our best playmaker on D is out (Byrd), and Poz is the only healthy linebacker from the start of the season. So in reality, it's going to be the Colts backups playing against the Bills 3rd stringers and street free agents.
  23. god i love this team....nice pick modrak
  24. lee evans going with the randy moss push off for a TD!!!
