  1. I firmly believe that Andrew Luck is the class of college quarterbacks, from the perspective of NFL potential.

He has the size, strength, speed, and intelligence to be successful on the next level.

The problem is, he is too smart.

If and when the Bills secure the #1 pick in the draft (or the #2 pick, with the team in front of them not needing a quarterback), Andrew Luck will absolutely choose to stay in school to prevent himself from being drafted by the Buffalo Bills.

No quarterback with a modicum of sense and any other options would declare for the draft to be selected by the Buffalo Bills. Doing so would only serve to cost him countless millions of dollars, and a person of Luck's intelligence will simply stick it out another year so he can be drafted by a real NFL-caliber organization, in any media market besides Buffalo.

As sad as it makes me to type this, Andrew Luck will not be the next Buffalo Bills quarterback.

Perhaps we will have a chance at Ryan Mallett, as he will be declaring for the draft no matter what. I hope he matures a lot between now and then, should we select him, as right now he comes off like a dumb jock good ol' boy southerner.

Don't pretend that Luck won't look to see which organization he'd be drafted by, and decide to stay away from Buffalo like the plague.

It really doesnt matter when Luck comes out because I'm sure we will be able to reach him in the 2012 draft as well. Too bad for him he can't pick his draft spot. Sorry, Luck you may be coming to the B-Lo whenever you decice to declare yourself eligible.

  2. I don't know how you can just "switch" your loyalty from team to team. There's something wrong with you.

I was raised a Bills fan and have never, nor will I ever waver in my undying loyalty to this team. Being a fan means sticking with the team NO MATTER WHAT. Through thick and thin, good times and bad.

You're a traitor and you ARE a troll.

Hell yes lets-go-bills I agree with you. Bills for life. How did you go from Browns to Bills and then quit on Buffalo. You said you lost Cleveland to the move but why Buffalo? (Because we didn't win enough games) You were never a Bills fan. We are in it for life. (And were not moving) Go Bills. F the cheeseheads

  3. Pig? that's classy bud. Why don't you find something else to do. I put my life on the line everday for the citizens I'm sworn to protect. PIG= Pride, Integrity, Guts) Keep your opinion of Law Enforcement off a Buffalo Bills forum.

Well said Mike. I live close to Syracuse as well. So you obviously know about the garbage that goes on in the streets of that City.

  4. I'll be honest here: I didn't really care who we drafted this spring, as we had a hell of a lot of needs.

But after watching some of the Panthers/Ravens game last night, I have to say...I wish we had drafted Clausen. For his first NFL game, he looked better than anyone we've got on the team right now. I couldn't help but think "he could've been ours" the entire time I watched. Am I alone here?

Oh well - here's hoping that Spiller ends up making me forget all about this tonight!

I was thinking the same thing. Thing is we could of had him in the 2nd round. UNREAL he looks good

  5. Walsh and Marv were buds from back in the day.

Walsh was a notorious practical joker.

Walsh told Marv to draft a particular Glove Wearing Mary from Los Gatos.

Said Glove Wearing Mary from Los Gatos has spent 3 years stinking up the joint and blaming everyone else.

    You do the math.

That glove wearing Mary has the worst line in the league and no one to throw to besides Lee. Wouldn't you check down if you had 2 damn seconds to throw the ball. Let him play in front of a competent line before we deem him Mary.

  6. What stuck out with me is the quote from Trent:

“You go through your highs and lows at camp,” said Trent Edwards. “Obviously, the defense won (Wednesday) and sometimes we’re not going to win a football game. But you have to find a way to learn from it. We have to go back to the drawing board.

Maybe it's me and my lack of enthusiasm knowing that Trent might be the starter but he hasn't changed. He still has the Dick Jauron style of speech. That, i]it's tough out there, we know we are going to lose some games, attitude. I have had enough of this guy and his ho-hum attitude with this team.

Sack up Trent, say something like, they played us tough today, we sucked out there, too many mistakes but we will play better next time, attitude. Show some fire for Christ's sake. Show your teammates, coaches and fans that you have a pulse. Show that you WANT to win, not just hoping to win.

In my opinion, Trentative should have been on the same bus out of Buffalo with Jauron. It's time for a new attitude. I don't care if it comes from a rookie 7th rounder, but we need someone to lead this team that has a heart and desire to WIN in the NFL.

While I am an Edwards fan and rooting for him to start this quote pissed me off to. Like you said this reeks of Jauron and his oh well it was hard out there today BS! Grow a pair and say we need to get better and are going to get better.

  7. It's not exactly a choice. If you grew up in Buffalo and were exposed to a live home game at a young impressionable age, you'd know exactly what I'm talking about. It's not just a sports team. It's more than a love affair - it's a marriage. 'They're part of the extended family. Til death do us part.

We're the Linus Van Pelt's of the sports world. We approach every year with unbridled optimism, hoping that maybe this will be the year The Great Pumpkin (ie-Lombardi Trophy) comes to us. We're also Charlie Brown, convinced that this will be the time that Lucy doesn't pull the ball away when we try to kick it.

Why are we Bills fans? 'Cause we're blockheads, that's why.

I think you speak for all of us. Put me down for the same reasons.
