  1. Sidibe looked good. O'shay though what is up with that do lol. It was a treat watching Battle take over though. His confidence was sky high. This team is scrappy and young. Will be interesting to watch them grow. Chukwu is improved but dude still needs to eat a cheeseburger lol.
  2. I had a thought amidst the Tyrod benching. Is it possible that they have reached a decision on their target at the position this week? Does anyone have the list of what games scouts were at? Perhaps the Bills fell in love with a guy, will move heaven and earth to get him, and decided to give Peterman a test run in the mean time? Wishful thinking but humor me. Anyone know what games the Bills were at this weekend?
  3. Joesixpack that's my era as well. NIN did an acoustic set. If you search youtube for NIN Chicago you will get 43 minutes of pure musical bliss. hearing the acoustic versions of some of their songs make them so much better highly recommend it! BTW LAMP: Going to see Joe Bonamassa in Ithaca. I can't !@#$ing wait!
  4. Except he HAS proven to be a middle of the pack starter. Even with the horrific outing last Sunday he was still outperforming several "name" qbs. Where is the evidence that Dennison can be succesful calling plays on his own without Shanahan/Kubiak? The offense last year was competent. This year it isn't. I'm frustrated that the Bills can't be good on both sides of the ball at the same time for some reason. 2014 great d, subpar o. 2015/16 above average o, subpar d. 2017 subpar o and the d is slipping back to rex numbers. I want all of our players to be in a position to be successful. That means I would have liked to have seen Tyrod rolling out, I wouldn't like to see Tolbert running anything east/west, etc... The goal of the offense and defense for that matter should be to be productive. Not be productive/unproductive as long as it is done my (Dennison's) way. 7 games is too small of a sample size for me. I would hate for them to neglect the position hoping Peterman is the answer although it would be very billsy. Even supporting Tyrod I was and am on board with competition at the spot. If Peterman plays well and is a franchise guy he should be able to beat out whomever is drafted. If he can't beat out the draftee then we have a better player in the draftee.
  5. Yeah I will give that to you. Woods only played 13 games last year and Watkins 8. TD Mike is a being missed like crazy. That option play to Tolbert was one of the worst play calls imaginable. This is Dennison's quote “At that point in time, it was one of the plays I wanted to call in that situation and (LeSean McCoy) was out. I had confidence in Mike. I think he can do a good job. We’re trying to get the best we can out of each guy.” That says I don't play to my players strengths I do what I want to do regardless of my players ability to execute it. Which is what I saw with TT as well. Like I said I hope his seat is HOT. absolutely. I'm a TT supporter and think he got a raw deal. He is absolutely limited. However we saw the last 2 years he can lead a successful offense. Again forcing TT to stay in the pocket is not setting your players up for success. It is said all the time that the most successful coaches mold their scheme around their talent. Somehow Dennison is getting a pass on this due to people wanting to see Peterman. It's frustrating.
  6. Imagine you had the #1 rushing offense 2 years running and now have the 17th. Imagine you had the #7 scoring offense last year and now have the 20th. All while having the same players. Dennison is trying to force players into his system. Much like Rex did. The players had to meet with the coaches during the bye to force them to go back to things that worked last year and the Bills had their 2 best offensive games. Dennison has done nothing in this league except play second fiddle. It should be obvious to all of us after the Rex debacle that coaching matters. Seeing a regression on 1 side of the ball when the players are the same points to the scheme or the coach. Both of those are on Dennison. I hope Peterman comes in and kills it. I hope the Bills take a qb high and solve the qb position long term. I don't feel great about Dennison being the one to mold a young qb and develop him though. I hope his seat is very hot because he has mishandled this offense back to the offseason when he said he didn't care what they did last year.
  7. I hope Peterman comes in and lights the world on fire. Even if he does though I would like to see a high pick on a qb. Insurance at the QB situation and 2 cost controlled guys would be a great problem to have.
  8. So many missed layups. Chukwu is big but that is about it. Tyus caught fire out there though and it was something I hadn't seen in a while from a Cuse player. Even Howard got in the act. I like Dolezaj he is a hustler. Still not high hopes for this team after watching them struggle to put away Iona. They should be fun to watch though and I think they will win a couple that they shouldn't this year. Weird game overall though. Even though SU was never really ahead by more than 5-10 points it always felt like they were in control and never in danger of losing the game.
  9. I hate you for making me go through game film to refute this point The Bills and Saints each had 4 minute drives to start the game. The Bills then had a 2 minute drive. The Saints then marched to the Bills 9 before fumbling the ball. The Bills had a 3 minute drive stopped by a penalty before punting. The Saints then had a 5 minute td drive. The defense never showed up on Sunday. Before you get upset, the offense didn't either. Trying to pin this game all on the shoulders of Tyrod is asinine. It was a total team let down including Taylor. The Saints didn't punt once! Maintain any intensity in the second half? They let the Saints go on a TD drive right at half where the Saints faced one 3rd down! This suck was a total team effort. How come nobody says the offense laid down because they realized the defense couldn't get any stops? Because it is a dumb thing to say. Both sides of the ball should play hard all game long regardless of score or outcome. Not doing so is their own fault and both sides share plenty of blame for this.
  10. Saw a tweet from Rodak "The Bills allowed 14.2 ypc when they had 8 or more defenders in the box." That's 56 yards passing bad.
  11. Woof that was some terrible quarterbacking. The 3rd down check downs were enough to have me pulling my hair out. No defense for Tyrod from me after that game. Still think he's a middle of the road starter but wow was that bad. I went to see how bad it was and somehow by QBR it was only the 68th worst game by a qb this year. It wasn't even the worst TT game as Cincy holds that honor. 7 of the 67 worse games were in wins and 2 wins were by Cam Newton. I fully expected that to be one of the worst of the year and his worst. So by my tally this year so far: 3 bad games (Carolina, Cincy, and Saints), 2 mediocre (Jets 2 and falcons) and 4 good games 2 games where he hurt the team (Cincy, Saints) and 2 where he didn't help the team (Carolina, Jets #2) - not surprising it is all 4 losses Big game for TT and the Bills this Sunday. He and they need to rebound in a big way!
  12. Glass Half Full: Still in the drivers seat for the playoffs. Glass half empty: The last 2 weeks back to back, especially yesterday, really makes you question the make up of the team. They laid down yesterday between the defense not stopping a run when the whole world knew they were running to Tyrod checking down repeatedly on 3rd down. "Character teams" may get beat on talent but they should never get beat by being outworked and it feels like that is what happened the last 2 weeks. What's next? Bills **** or get off the pot. Show the world that the last 2 weeks were flukes or show that you are the same as the last 17 years. I think the "playoffs" start this week for the team. Let's see what they are made of.
  13. Yesterday was a tough pill to swallow. I can excuse the Jets game as a short week, division opponent, blah blah blah. The lack of effort yesterday was certainly eye opening. Yesterday the run and pass offense were terrible. Yesterday the run and pass defense were terrible. I don't even know how that is possible. It's chicken or egg trying to figure out if the offense sucked because the defense did or vice versa. Teams rush 5 against the Bills and get pressure. What is done to fix that? Nothing The Bills rush 4 and get no pressure. What is done to fix that? Nothing Tolbert as the backup rb is proving to be the disaster we all thought it would. He has zero lateral quickness so it either needs to be a run up the gut or its a tfl. Dareus is missed greatly in the middle of that d line. The "leaders" on this team need to check themselves. Both lines were dominated 2 weeks in a row. After half time the defense came out and gave up a long drive. I don't want to hear how it's the offenses fault they didn't force a single Saints punt. Tyrod checked down short of the sticks so many times on 3rd down not even giving the team a chance at a first. I don't want to hear it's the defenses fault they were playing from behind and couldn't get into their game plan. It was concerning to me and not a positive that the players had to meet with the coaches to get them to go back to some of the things that made them successful last year. The coaches should have already been doing that. All of this said and the Bills still sit at 5-4 in the drivers seat for a wc berth. Time to see what McDermott and the process are made of. Time for some major adjustments and the first one needs to be effort level.
  14. Not sure if I have posted it before but New Belgium fat tire is just a great beer. Also been enjoying Brooklyn Lager as of late (I'm not an IPA guy)
  15. Yeah my post was directly related to Winston and Eli. Narrowing down the context would make it more meaningful imo. Maybe down 7 points or less or something to that effect.
  16. Got tickets to see him this Thursday. Can't wait!
  17. The dreaded garbage time? Where teams are playing soft which allows qb to complete a lot of passes for a lot of yards? This is a stat that needs a lot of context to mean anything imo.
  18. Oh yeah not a good look for sure just wanted to clarify it a bit. Reminiscent of finding out Stevie Johnson didn't work out in the offseason. As good as I look on Cam I look terrible on my Wentz bet. You might even say I'm being pantsed on that one!
  19. Good to see you biscuit! FWIW he didn't show up to camp overweight he ballooned and showed up to minicamp in May over weight. No reports that I could find of him reporting to camp heavy.
  20. I think it is because of Flacco. He is hot garbage and that is disrespectful to hot garbage. Can't argue that!
  21. Holy crap did you see how slow that pass was from Tyrod! Dooooooooooomed!
  22. NFL Primetime was a fantastic show and must see tv at the end of a Sunday. I'm not much for pregame shows as I'm usually pregaming myself but yeah Berman is and was a national f*cking treasure!
  23. The same thing that happens with most super teams. They have to find their way. I am intrigued to watch 3 ball dominant guys co-exist though.
  24. Also predicting a tough year for Cuse. Every year we list all of the games up for sale. The games we want to go to we list at crazy prices. Yesterday 3 games sold!. Cornell, Virginia, and BC?! Glad they sold now because I have a feeling it's going to get ugly this year. Apparently the start of the season hype has some people eager. Should be an easy win tonight though for Cuse (hopefully).
  25. Yeah Popovich has some fun with the designations.
