  1. I agree wholeheartedly but this exercise without trades changes things imo. Cards owner traded David Johnson in the trade draft to go up and get Jackson so in the mock he is gone for sure. If this were real I would hope the Bills started trying to trade up with the Broncos and every subsequent team.
  2. I'm not huge on Jackson at 12 but could see him going to the Cardinals at 15. Rudolph could then go to the Skins at 13 or Chargers at 17 and then there is no qbs left at 22 for the Bills. That is an even bigger nightmare than how this has played so far imo. One of the top 6 guys needs to be on the roster next year.
  3. I thought about it but he had no votes so I picked Jackson to cover for the weak o-line play. OT wouldn't be a bad pick here imo
  4. It's why I couldn't pick Vea. DT is a depth need not a glaring hole. Star, Washington and Kyle are an okay rotation. Vita wouldn't be a terrible pick just not as big a need as other spots (namely lb and qb - I'd probably even put wr above dt)
  5. went with Jackson. runs the same offense as Daboll will here. Can cover some of the o-line weakness (thought about OT here) and the Bills NEED the QB of the future on the roster.
  6. wow this is a tough pick. Don't like DT here with the signing of Star, don't like CB here as I trust McDermott to find value, don't really like any of the qbs at this pick. Bleh in real life this is a trade down spot imo.
  7. I foresaw this yesterday lol. I'm sorry everyone! I almost pulled a Jimmy Haslem and tanked the pick to help out my favorite team. BTW googling Dolphins team owner shows a picture of Brady which I thought was hilarious. Until I googled Bills owner and someone did it to us too! Like I said though I can see the first 5 picks playing out how they did here (at least the names) which would put the Bills in a great spot. Trading to 2 doesn't seem as important to me as it did when we started the exercise.
  8. The Dolphins make everyone on the board hate them and select Josh Rosen QB, UCLA. A couple of player comps you will see are to Cutler who Gase loves and his pure passing ability gets compared to Marino. Although Tannehil is still on the roster there will be a qb battle in the Dolphins camp. This is by far the bpa. @BuffaloHokie13 @Virgil you can put the poll up now.
  9. That was my pick for the niners with how things played out. He can learn from Sherman while playing a cb/s hybrid role. I was nervous you were gonna screw me though
  10. I would be okay with that. Gronk is a huge part of their success. Him leaving would only accelerate Brady's decline imo. In reality I would probably throw my remote through the tv and then get yelled at by my wife for being such a baby.
  11. I can't explain the amount of anxiety I would have if the real draft was playing out like this. I would be staring at the ticker waiting for it to say the Bills traded up I like this pick and match. He and Trevathan in the middle with Floyd on the outside would be a great lb crew!
  12. Keep fighting the good fight rockpile! This is a great MS organization to donate to. You made the top 5 so far for donations! Unfortunately my family can't do the walk this year so do you mind me sharing your link to them?
  13. Yeah I have been reading about them for the last draft and this one. It seems that QB isn't a need per se but that the team also wouldn't be against getting one. Tannehil hasn't played meaningful football since December of 2016 and he wasn't exactly setting the world on fire either. Rosen at 11 when his comp that comes up time again as Marino? Pick makes itself. In real life if a top guy is on the board after the Broncos pick every team between them and the Fins would be a likely trade partner for the Bills. Yeah the inclusion of Johnson was far beyond reality but the move might not be as you said just different capital.
  14. Adam Schefter‏Verified account @AdamSchefter Mar 29 I have heard from league sources that Josh Rosen is the anti-christ.
  15. Ian RapoportVerified account @RapSheet Section122 is beside himself. Driving around downtown San Francisco begging Lynch's family for Lynch's home address.
  16. In the case of the top 4 guys gone I wouldn't hate Jackson. That is way too early for Rudolph though. I think he is safely there at 22. If the rumors of Elway coveting Rudolph are true that might open 5 to be available for trade so they could grab a starter at 12 to fill one of there holes and then Rudolph at 22. @BuffaloHokie13 Matt Miller's best available has Billy Price listed as a CB. Might want to fix that. I think he would be an epic bust at cb
  17. On the flip side though.... There are 11 teams in front of the Bills and only 2 are certainly taking a qb in the Browns and Jets. The Giants, Broncos, and Fish are all possibilities but not guarantees. I can envision a scenario where 2 guys are left at 12 for the Bills. All along I've thought the Bills needed to get to 2 and that still is the best case scenario but for the first time I feel pretty good that one of the top 4 guys will be there at 6. That's a much cheaper trade to pull off. I really want Mayfield/Rosen and I think one of the 2 slides a bit.
  18. boy looking at the draft order and who is in front of me.... I don't know how I'm not taking Rosen at 11
  19. I just realized I can make myself really unpopular around here if I draft a qb at 11
  20. Right off the bat when they jumped off the roof I realized that I was going to really enjoy it. Yup I think I'll be watching it tonight! Gator's bitches better be wearing jimmies!
  21. I know some people got left out that wanted to participate. I would be willing to share the Dolphins with someone and work together in a "tsw war room" if need be.
  22. Yeah there are a few now in town after their success. I really was surprised about the Mass Riot. I'm not a big IPA or hops guy so I figured it wouldn't be for me. I really can't say enough about how good it was. I might have to stand in line next time too lol
  23. Johnny Hammersticks The Poojer So I finally got to try Prison City's Mass Riot that won awards and is in high demand. Wow was that an amazing beer. It's one of those things that I thought eh how good can it be? The answer is really !@#$ing good! Well worth getting your hands on if you can.
  24. 21 Jump St and The Other Guys are 2 movies I had really low expectations for and loved. Both were really funny. Step Brothers really good as well. I haven't seen mentioned: Grandma's Boy - probably my favorite comedy of all time Tommy Boy - might be the most quotable movie ever Hot Tub Time Machine - This probably goes under the so bad it's good thread but I inexplicably love this and HTTM 2. They never fail to make me laugh no matter how many times I have seen them. White Chicks - another so bad it's good. I normally don't like cross dressing movies but Terry Crews kills me in this movie. Yeah I like dumb funny.
