I disagree sort of but thank you for clearing up your point. If Stevie or Kyle came in and performed like hardy and mccargo respectively they would have been cut and not thought of again. It was because mccargo was a 1st and hardy a 2nd that they got as many chances as they did. Stevie and Kyle got their chance because they showed something quickly.

Why not? If Dobbs was a first or second round pick I would be right there with you. A 4th round pick isn't a significant investment. It's a crapshoot. Do you care to explain why you feel it doesn't matter where he was drafted because I don't understand that logic. For the Bills do you have higher expectations for tremaine Edmunds or tarron johnson? Would you be more disappointed if Edmunds got cut before next year or johnson?

When would a 4th round draft pick ever preclude someone from drafting the same position? Both dobbs and landry (who most certainly won't be back) were 4th round picks. If Dobbs got cut would it really be a big deal? By year 2 only 74.1% of players are on the team that drafted them. By year 3 that number drops to 54.3. To dig further, what if they had a 1st round grade on Rudolph and only took him because he was far and away the top player on their board? A little more googling and I found this: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ben-roethlisberger-texted-mason-rudolph-before-the-start-of-steelers-rookie-minicamp/. Which says the Steelers had him as a first round grade. Steelers are planning for life after Big Ben point blank period. Big Ben doesn't want to admit how close to the end he is. He's already threatened retirement. I don't blame the Steelers one bit.

What? What a weird cherry picked dumb stat. The Lakers have won 5 championships in the last 20 years. I'll take that over drafting well. Further the Lakers either drafted at the end of the round or not at all due to trades.

Wegmans opens mega-mega-megastore outside Boston
section122 replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
2 different stores. Costco is much more like a BJs or Sams Club. Wegmans is just a regular grocery store. Yeah the Tops near me is very run down. They have a weekly meal deal though that can't be beat. Whatever is on special is discounted then a bunch of complimentary items are also discounted. For example pot roast will be on sale, if you buy gravy, carrots, etc... you get a deal on all of them as well and usually a free 12 pack of water. It is worth the trip just for that one deal. Other than that and prepared foods, Wegmans is the better store. This reminded me of another annoying Wegmans thing. They will regularly and routinely be out of name brand items while pushing their store brand. Wegman's as a store brand isn't bad but I prefer Giannelli sausage. Their Gardineria also decent but I prefer Mezzetta. It seems purposeful. Small things I know but they add up. Their family pack of chicken breast and ground beef though is on point. Zweigles sucks Hoffman forever!!!! -
I still don't see it but if they win the next one the momentum swings wildly in their favor. Glad the sixers showed up instead of laying down like the Raptors. It's officially time to break up that team imo.

Wegmans opens mega-mega-megastore outside Boston

I've never understood the love for Wegmans. It may be because the one in my city is smaller but it is just another grocery store. Wegmans is the most expensive in town for pretty much everything. They used to be great for produce but there has been a noted downturn in the last couple of years in quality of product. Meat department is ok but outclassed by local grocers, canned goods are much cheaper at Wal-Mart, even the sub shop has reduced their meat per sandwich and now you eat a giant roll with a little bit of meat. I've been to some of the nicer ones and they are very nice but again not nicer than say a Publix. So I open-mindedly ask what is so great about Wegmans? Why does it get this mythical reputation as the grocery store to end all grocery stores? Is it simply because it is born locally? -
It is still federally illegal therefore a no go for federal employees. Drug testing policies don't care how the drugs got there simply if they are or aren't. Good news though: If you don't smoke regularly it is out of your system in less than a week. I don't know why I know these things but I do

At full strength being the key. As they are comprised now? Not a chance imo.

I know the east had more 50 win teams than the west but it still is a very weak conference 1. Raptors - chokers 2. Celtics - missing top 2 players but playoff tested 3. Sixers - A year too early, getting their experience 4. Cavs - Still gonna win dragging this apathetic and pathetic team to yet another finals appearance. It's too bad Kyrie and Hayward aren't playing. That ECF would have been very interesting. I was hoping Rockets/Warriors would be but the closer it gets to reality the more I see Warriors in 5 at most 6.

Why just the Lakers? How about the Nuggets who traded the pick? Or any of the 12 teams before he got picked? Including your Mavs

RUMOR - Agent claims NE wanted Mayfield at #2
section122 replied to CommonCents's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Patriots are known for bringing in QBs they have no intention of drafting to get inside their mind. It gives them information and helps them in game planning. I'll try to dig up the article. This makes sense then when the smoke was there for Mayfield at 3 to the Jets. Hopefully the Bills did likewise as you stated with Darnold. One of those tricks that the Patriots* use to get a leg up and it is a pretty good one imo. -

Darnold looks like the bully from 90s kids sports movies -
Finally broke the 210 barrier! It was 209.9 but still lol. This morning I hit 209.2. Belt has moved over a notch, my man boobs have shrunk, and I no longer have a dickie-do!!! All good things, I hope everyone else continues to do well!

section122 replied to 4thandGoal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Friend's house and playing cards. They are aware that I will be extremely distracted. I have already apologized for the amount of times I won't be paying attention to the card game . Tomorrow night will be home, Saturday i'll have it on in the background. -

I thought they were pretty accurate lol. I'll be pumped for Rosen or Mayfield, happy with Darnold, nervous/unsure/sad for Allen, and unsure how to feel about Jackson. I have zero control over this situation so I shouldn't get worked up about it but today directly effects my enjoyment of Fall Sundays for the next several years . Please let them get it right!!!
