I think if Roquan Smith or Tremaine Edmunds are on the board at 11 that will be the Dolphins pick. They need lb help desperately. I just couldn't pass on Rosen at 11 bc I don't think Tannehil is any good and the value was tremendous.

down to 212 (13 pounds since start) made it through the holidays and now the weather is (hopefully) going to be nicer. Fish after 3 rounds have added Josh Rosen, Christian Kirk, and Mark Andrews. Still a hole at LB that I couldn't really find the value to address but I think I did well remaking the offense. Fins could use an ol, 2 lbs, and maybe a dt to round out the draft.

The Broncos don't draft a qb allowing the Bills to get one between 6-10 and not have to trade 22. I want Rosen or Mayfield. With QB secured, trade 22 for a first next year.

First year as a Bills fan! This play should have been my warning to get out lol Best memory for me: really hard to narrow but I might just put this New Year's Eve in that position. The Bills did what they needed to and then the Bengals miracle. 17 years of suck gone out the window. I talked trash all week to my Giants, Niners, and Cowboys fan friends. Regular text messages of "who do you guys have this week?." The locker room videos all week, Kyle's pure joy, all of it. It was one of the best weeks of being a Bills fan for me.

I think Arden Key will be the player who fell in our mock but won't in the real one. I don't know why Bruce Irvin comes to mind but it wouldn't shock me to see Key go somewhere around 20 give or take a few picks.

I cant figure out the strategy. Is it bpa or reach for positions of need? A little of this and a little of that and we are staring at using our first 3 picks on a developmental qb, depth dt, and ANOTHER slot wr. I think the community as a GM blew this draft . Would be interesting to see some hindsight after this mock. When it wraps I'll look at it and put together something I noticed during the last pick.

I went ragnow because there are only 2 picks before the next one. Charm and or Washington will be there. There isn't another c the caliber of ragnow though imo.

A post like this reveals your bias though. I can play the game with the 2 guys you like: I understand why people like Rosen, he has a lot of pure passing ability but there are concerns about his commitment to the game I understand why people like Darnold, he looks the part but there are a lot of concerns about his ball security. So it can be a "huge failure" to you but if they get the guy they wanted it doesn't have to be an overall failure. I thought they threw in the towel trading Sammy, I hated the the Dareus trade, I thought he should have gone for it on 4th down against the Colts. All that said, the Bills made the playoffs and I am fully on board with the process. I don't like Allen. He screams Blaine Gabbert to me in that he has no business being discussed in the top half of the first round but there he sits. If the Bills draft him I'll hope like hell it works. Whomever the team drafts I'll anxiously await Astro notes to see if I need to be nervous. These guys (at least for me) have earned some rope. As long as they take a shot, even if it is a guy I don't like, I'll play the wait and see game. btw I'm not without bias myself. Rosen/Mayfield in a Bills uniform and I'm pumped.

The fins have a few needs specifically the front 7 on defense so 2 picks on offense probably aren't reality but Rosen was a no brainer and Kirk is the best available by a long shot imo. He and key were my 2 choices and they cut ties with headache players so that ruled out key for me.

Cb would have been the pick if not for the recent run on dbs. Thought about Arden key here but the fins appear to be going away from troubled players. As the Dolphins GM I would be shopping Tannehil while letting my 10 minutes almost run out. I would then continue to shop him until I got a pick in the top 2 rounds. With this pick Rosen becomes the immediate starter and Tanny goes trade bait route.

In the draft with trades I got Quenton Nelson. Without trades I got Josh Rosen. Such easy picks a trained monkey could make them. Wait no. I am a genius and my football knowledge is unrivaled! In the interest of making this as realistic as possible. I couldn't leave Rosen there. Clear BPA and a reasonable position for the Fins to take. If Roquan Smith was still there I would have grabbed him and left Rosen but as we saw with the Bills pick value gets cloudy at that spot.
