  1. Is anyone else convinced that Jimmy Spags is just crayonz trying a different ruse? It was funny for a while but now its boring.....
  2. A draft for that 1st round - Floyd wr notre dame 2nd - best lb available (lavonte david, bruce irvin, etc...) 3rd - dequan menzie cb alabama 4th - nate potter ot boise st or if you prefer 1st - martin ot stanford 2nd - same set of lbs 3rd - dequan menzie cb alabama 4th - slew of wrs (tommy streeter, jordan white, nick toon, etc)
  3. yes I apologize i mix those two up all the time. Datko has the minor injury history. Sanders has a pretty good track record and does well in pass pro and run blocking. His only area of struggle is with the Bull rush and possibly awareness. Don't know how many of you remember this but it's worth a laugh http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=cV448r5f2qI
  4. Zebrie Sanders FSU - some injury history but very highly rated before injuries Brandon Mosley Auburn - some struggles with bull rushes but a legitimate prospect. Played mostly rt. Mitchell Schwartz Cal - better run blocker than pass blocker and projects to rt. 4 years of production though Matt McCants UAB - tall (6'7") and skinny 295 with some strength concerns. Nate Potter Boise - won't pretend to be impartial. This is the guy I would like the Bills to get. He's got good size, plenty of experience/production, and played in a pass heavy offense. There are concerns for him handling speed rushers as well as if he can generate good push on short yardage situations. Bobbie Massie Ole Miss - played rt in college and projects there in the pros. Excellent run blocker but doesn't project to lt due to some pass blocking concerns. These are prospects that fall anywhere from 2nd-4th round. I see one of these guys being taken somewhere in this time frame by the Bills if Moose Martin isn't the pick (right now it seems that is what it will be).
  5. Yeah I wouldn't be so excited about this move from a Bills fan perspective. Garrrard is a more than capable starter with career numbers of 89 tds to 54 ints 16,003 passing yards, 17 rushing tds, and a 61.6 completion percentage. He is by far and away the best of what was left out there. All in all its an excellent pickup for the dolphins imo.
  6. Least surprising signing of the offseason.
  7. Sitting at my desk with the shoutbox up the Mario Williams thread open and tabs of pft and ESPN all while streaming wgr. I already had permission to leave at 2 for the Syracuse game but as soon as the news came across and was confirmed I put my coat and walked straight out. It was earlier than 2 but i didn't care. I then proceeded to drink too much tanqueray in celebration. Went to work hungover and blamed it on a stomach ache from pizza!
  8. Other teams fans before the signing: Mario Williams is a beast! He's the best defensive player out there! If (fill in the blank) signs him they'll win the super Bowl! Other teams fans after the signing: Mario Williams sucks. He's injury prone and only plays at half speed anyway. The Texans were better without him! He's just another greedy player. Hell before the signing: hot and humid Hell after the signing: cool and breezy!
  9. how does it make it to page 3 and no one has pointed out the irony of the thread title?! Im sure Ill get call stupid for this but Id sign Evans and Maybin back Anyone see anything wrong with that sentence? Besides it containing an idea to bring back Maybin and Lee I mean lol
  10. as an idea.. I would offer our 1st for their second and Allen. I think it would work out for both sides. The Bills wouldn't surrender much (dropping 23 spots in the draft but still getting a pick in return. The vikings would have the 4th and 10th pick which would help them rebuild (obviously what they are doing if they trade Allen). The only loser in the deal would be the WNY deer population! It would be a monster line!
  11. When players are traded the new team is not responsible for their signing bonus. Therefore it will not be amortized over the length of the deal as usual. His cap hit would be the salary by itself. It also allows the team that trades for the player to cut said player without any cap penalty. They touch on it here... http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2012-03-13/sports/chi-dollars-and-sense-brandon-marshalls-contract-20120313_1_brandon-marshall-workout-bonus-base-salary
  12. gotta give kb props too he also confirmed this early but well done you 2
  13. John ditulio discussing Mario to have dinner in buffalo now. Of you made it up Metz this is legendary lol
  14. great deal for the Bears as it reunites Cutler and Marshall who did serious damage for the Broncos. What is the Dolphins move now? This is puzzling to say the least... If they do make a play for Flynn this hurts him tremendously.
  15. what would we do without the internet? That regardless of what it means is simply amazing! Now who knows what kind of private plane the Bills/Ralph owns?
  16. don't worry apparently everyone is so hungry for info they fell for it anyway
  17. different story. Peyton was released and therefore immediately became a free agent and able to meet with any team(s) he chooses
  18. no way. Talk to a Cowboys fan - they hate this guy and blame a lot of their secondary woes on him.
  19. I didn't realize this happens but will of course bow to you and believe it to be true. I just get annoyed when people post on a thread and don't add anything to the conversation. Many came to this thread only to complain about the fact that BR was used instead of discussing the actual article itself. Just me complaining about complainers
