I think every single fan that is on the fence stays away from buying the December games because of the weather. Oh yeah also the fact that a December game hasn't meant much for the Bills in a long time. If this game mattered and the Bills had a shot I would consider making the drive. It doesn't matter at all. People know the weather may or may not be a factor so imo people hold off on tickets to see what the game means and what the forecast will be. If the Bills were fighting for a playoff spot do you or PTR think this game wouldn't be a sell out? I'm sick of the fans taking the blame. I'll even add that I haven't thought the Bills had the best fans in the NFL for a long time, but their lack of selling out meaningless games after 14 straight years of futility have nothing to do with it. The Bills have finished in last place for the last 5 seasons. They haven't had more than 6 wins for 4 (going on 5) seasons. December has long meant nothing to the team and therefore the fans.

Wilbon is very good. When it comes to the NBA his knowledge is unmatched. The NFL well, he is a Bears homer but he still is very very good. He and Kornheiser are why PTI works. I just wish ESPN didn't clone that show repeatedly thinking blowhards would make it worthwhile.

tbh Mayock drives me insane more than any other announcer. He is just factually wrong so many times during games. Add in all of the times that he calls out the wrong player (or team even sometimes) and it seems like he just mails it in. Love his draft stuff, hate his announcing.

I agree. He himself though does not help his own cause. They throw a lot and he is wildly inconsistent. Some games he looks like that franchise qb others he fumbles the snap 5 times. True "franchise" qbs should be (imo) more successful than he has been.

They also went 4-12 last year. Stafford is incredibly inconcisitent. He has one of the all time greats to throw the ball to and still struggles! Playing in a dome even! The most damning thing I saw about him was before this year he was 1-23 against teams with a winning record. I understand wins and losses aren't all on the qb but that is a damning statistic to say the least.

When 12 teams make the playoffs 10 is quite the ratio. That said TE is (or can be) a qb's best friend especially a young qb. Having that big TE would lessen the need for a big WR as they would/could fill the same redzone role. Also looking at the Pats* without Gronk and Hernandez, and the Saints when Graham gets shut down, they can be a huge part of making offenses go. These are considered high octane offenses when their te's are humming and can be pedestrian without them.

I won't number them as they are glaring weaknesses imo but LG, LB, and then behind that TE, RT, RG, WR. I don't think any argument can be made about the need at LG. LB is a glaring hole as I see it as well. If there bpa is lb here I would love the pick. TE because I hate watching Chandler. He had a good game Sunday but he isn't a game changer by any stretch of the imagination. RT, RG because again although serviceable they are a clear weakness on the team. WR because I too dream of the 6'5" throw it near them and they will make your qqb look good receivers.

I can't disagree as I've seen flags for less however.... He took it off, celebrated for a few seconds, then put it back on. It was (or should have been) clear that the removing of his helmet wasn't a celebration. I think if he jawed for a while or over celebrated a penalty may have been warranted. In this case it was a good no call. Edit: after retreading your post I think I said the exact same thing as you lol.

Have you read the ej thread? He didn't have near that good of a day and ppl are still chalking it up to the bad jax defense. Our 3rd string qbs strengths? What? Why would they do that when they have Thad that knows their system and can run it efficiently. You can't change an entire offense for 1 player! I can understand tailoring your offense to the players you have. I don't understand changing everything for your 3rd stringer!

I'm down 26 in my ppr big money keeper league. I have Torrey smith and megatron tonight. I'm hopeful for the w. I lost last year in the championship so I'm looking for revenge. Made it back to the championship in my espn league to defend my title. Rode the jamaalocaust to that championship game. Continue to steamroll in my other league. It is a weird setup with no playoffs. As I said earlier the start for Oakland was absolutely atrocious. He took 7 sacks fumbled 3 times and threw a pick 6. Believe it or not he played worse than the stats make it look too.
