  1. The Matrix did a pretty good job with these. Not quite what you are talking about but the had the animatrix that explained more of the story as well as a few video games that added to the story and had live action cut scenes.
  2. Yeah they have really revitalized that section. There is a ton of live music played there throughout the week. There are a couple of places right next door that also put on music. It would have been a lot better if they could have built the planned theater there as well but a lawyer decided to raise a stink and get the project shut down. Beer is good from there. They always have a few different choices. The food tries a little to hard to be high end for me. If it is a pub I want pub food. That said the poutine there is really good. Especially after a few...
  3. If they would take next year's first I absolutely would make this trade. For those that hate Rex and think he is terrible is he 3rd pick in the draft terrible? I don't think so.
  4. That is your answer. Like I said I can see both sides of it. Jeter made 265 million in his playing career. 150 million dollars is a huge amount of money. A Rod was never loved as a Yankee. He couldn't hold a candle to Jeter's popularity. Jeter actually had the charisma that A Rod pretended to.
  5. I'm surprised by the amount of men that care what other guys are wearing.
  6. That's why I said they traded their reputation for money. Their pride led them to try and get ahead. Do you think arod gets that huge contract from the Yankees if he doesn't have a shot at the HR record? He made a lot more money than he would have staying clean imo. Put it this way - it stings a lot less that people think you are a fraud when you have half a billion dollars.
  7. You just named a whos who of hated baseball figures lol. Your argument doesn't work well when they are all reviled as much as A-Rod. You might as well have added Clemens to your list... On a side note here is a discussion: Would you do what A Rod did? Long and short of it is he traded being thought of as a great player for a ton of money and a reputation as a cheater. To me I wouldn't mind people dragging my name through the mud for a career earnings of 416 million dollars.
  8. Hometown represent! Prison City Pub & Brewery IPA ranked No. 1 in America The field of 247 beers from across the country featured heavyweights like Firestone Walker and Sierra Nevada, as well as critical darlings like Maine Beer Co. and Grimm Artisanal Ales. And beating them all to come in at No. 1 was Auburn's own Prison City Pub & Brewery. Brewer Ben Maeso's Mass Riot IPA, which was available at the 28 State St. brewpub earlier this summer, racked up surprised raves from the Paste judges.
  9. 26cb thanks for all of this. I really appreciate it! That said what's up with Rodak's clickbait tweets?
  10. I am very happy with this move. The attitude he brought in 2014 was sorely missed in 2015.
  11. HR guy here so I side with the employer in most cases. I can't here though. Bosa is asking for nothing special. He is asking for exactly what other people in his position have been given. This is a bad look for the Chargers and I fell that the effects could be far reaching. This will have a negative effect on FA signings, draft pick negotiations in the future, and possibly the vote for a new stadium. Bosa has a year of earning to lose but to escape SD it may be worth it. If he re-enters the draft next year he likely is still a top 20 pick. I may be mistaken but Bosa has offered this. He will concede on either one but not both. The team refuses to budge on either.
  12. Hammer, Is there a possibility of leaving our car overnight for this game? We are working out logistics of getting to and from the game. If we drive to the game we thought of grabbing a cab home but only if we can leave the car somewhere and not worry about getting towed or ticketed.
  13. I don't disagree but my question is more about your stance that Mario should have been benched last year when IK would have been his replacement. What was Rex supposed to do last year if IK shouldn't be playing?
  14. So what was Rex supposed to do last year then when Mario was giving half effort? I agree that IK isn't very good but he was the other option last year in place of Mario. So either Rex gets bashed for playing IK or for playing Mario. As for veteran fill ins there isn't anyone out there that inspires confidence (not surprising at this stage of the game). All I could find was Greg Hardy, Kroy Biermann, Mike Neal, Daryyl Tapp, Jeremy Mincey, etc...
  15. crown and ginger as the standard if I just want a drink or 2 coors light on the golf course if I am planning on playing golf and drinking vodka pink lemonade if I am planning on drinking and playing golf I discovered sour ales this year and have been trying a few different ones. Haven't had a bad one yet from Grimm but they are always low production.
  16. Hang on a second. During the off season you trashed Rex for not pulling Mario if he was indeed giving half effort. Yet the guy who Rex would have had to put in can't be justified to start. Sooooooo what was he supposed to do?
  17. oops my apologies. Don't worry after this year you will see how wrong your post on the first page was
  18. He are some not team stats for you: We can all agree that Fitz had the best year of his career last year right? 6 times Eli has thrown for more yards than Fitz did last year. Fitz has thrown for more than 3k yards 4 times. Eli has thrown for more than 4k 5 times. Eli has thrown more than 3k in every year he has been the starter for the entire year (11 times). Eli averages 7.1 ypa in his career while Fitz averages 6.6. Eli sports a 2.97:1 td:int ratio while Fitz sports a 1:57:1. Are those enough individual stats for you?
  19. Put me in the camp that Grigson is one of the worst GMs in football. His decisions draft time are usually head scratchers and his personnel moves leave much to be desired. He lucked into Luck and that is about it. Here is a run down of poor moves (and I'm sure I'm missing some) Traded Jerry Hughes for Kelvin Shepard Traded a first for Trent Richardson Drafted Phillip Dorsett with a first Drafted Bjoern Werner in the first His FA signings leave a lot to be desired as well. Todd Herremans, Laron Landry, an over the hill Andre Johnson among others. Vick Ballard. I play way too much fantasy football...
  20. Of course. The decision to trade up one spot and give up a 4th, 5th, and 6th to do so was bad. Picking him period was bad. What they did with the return from trading him was bad. The decision to trade him was a good one though. They cut bait and didn't let him sit around and lose value. Yeah I may have been in the camp that it was a great trade for the Colts for a couple of weeks anyway. I thought he would bring balance to the team and offer a running threat. That is what happens when you look at surface numbers and don't dig deeper.
  21. I'll be honest, the first time I watched the video I thought it was a guy with a wig on. The wig is turrible!
  22. Mcscuse me B word gets me every single time
  23. This is has nothing to do with badgers but if you haven't seen this video take a couple of minutes and enjoy. https://youtu.be/IrSsjdzlUSw
  24. Watched Mike and Dave Need A Wedding Date or whatever it is called. Loved it and laughed from start to finish. It is a "dumb" comedy but done well. Doesn't try to be anything other than a fun movie and it succeeded.
  25. No I mean where they traded him for a first to the colts after realizing he was terrible. If you recall reaction to that trade was that the Colts had fleeced the Browns.
