Mario Says Dolphins D is "That Much Sweeter" for Him
section122 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A better troll job than most attempts you had this off season... If we kept Marrone and Schwartz last year my money is still on a regression from Mario. He knew that he was getting cut due to salary at the end of the year. There was no way the Bills were keeping him at his price tag. Therefore he red shirted himself last year and made sure he didn't get hurt. What he didn't count on is what it did to his reputation. For being an amazing talent and coming off of a $100 million contract I don't think he thought he would only get 8 million on the open market. He even stated the first person to offer me 10 gets me. He did what Clowney did his Junior year in college except it didn't work out the same for him. -
I know there was no disrespect meant and know I'm a bit over sensitive to this topic especially with this news coming out this week. She was a great kid and naive like we all were at that age. Sometimes especially at that age kids don't realize how dangerous the world is and think us parents are just being overprotective.
-
This is family to me. Please don't speculate especially wildly and baseless like this. She has been missing for a long time and we just found out this year that she was dead. Now having these details leaves the feeling of is it better to know or wonder. She was a great kid. Her mom is a great mom. I probably won't comment here again as this is obviously personal to me but just think before you post that some, especially sh*tty situations, involve some of us here on the board. Your point is spot on here save one. Dawn did tell her not to go and it was because she didn't want her to go. It wasn't veiled permission. Many of us make dumb choices as teens but most of us live to learn from them.

You were right to decline imo. Hilton is the best player in that deal. I love Williams as I stated above but again he has a 3 game value. I also love Fitzgerald but he faded at the end of the year last year so unless I get great value I'm avoiding him. Although I think he is the best Arizona wr, with 3 quality players competing for targets some weeks he puts up a dud.
-
I agree with all of this. However I think it is safe to assume that at least 1 of these 3 will bust and potentially all 3. Too much risk with these guys for me I prefer to go safe early in the draft.
-
I'm that guy. First Williams will start for the first 3 games, secondly Bell is an injury risk so Williams potentially carries great value towards the end of the year too. The other good thing about start Williams for the first 3 games is it gives you a chance to find that early season surprise and grab him to play in that rb position. I go the opposite. Since rb is so hard to predict the last few years I fill my team early and then go rb heavy at the end of the draft. That doesn't mean I avoid rb altogether especially if the value is there but I take a ton of flyers on rbs so I like to have my other positions locked in with studs. RBs at the end that I like this year include Alfred Morris (if Elliot goes down hes next in line), Dion Lewis (will probably grab him on waivers around week 4), Derrick Henry, Kelly (the wash rb), Spencer Ware (Charles is iffy) as well as some others I don't want to disclose yet lol. I posted this elsewhere but it is not uncommon for me to carry 7-8 rbs. Everyone wants them and needs them which leads to some great trade opportunities.
-
Julio, Anotonio Brown, or OBJ. Maybe Gurley if you are dead set on RB. Those are probably the top 4 options in my mind.

GSP was dominant no doubt but holy cow were his fights mind numbingly boring. He just got a guy on the ground and laid there for 5 rounds.

2016 GAME PICKS: GO ON THE RECORD
section122 replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ravens- W, Jets- W, Cardinals- L Patriots- W, Rams- W, 49ers- W, Dolphins- W, Patriots- L Seahawks- L, Bengals- L, Jaguars- W, Raiders- L, Steelers- L, Browns- W, Dolphins- W, Jets- W, huh 10-6 and I tried not to be too much of a homer -
I can't get on board with knowingly taking an l just because you want to rest some guys especially before the bye. That is absolutely crazy to me. The season is 16 games. The Bills have no chance at playoffs if they mail in 1 of them regardless of their record. Last year the Jets and Steelers both were 10-6 and the Jets stayed home.
-
I think that is the hardest game on the schedule. Prime time in that stadium will be loud and they are a very talented team.

My choice of draft order. Which pick #?
section122 replied to What a Tuel's topic in Fantasy Football
I'm with chilly. You get your pick of the litter then later on in the draft you have back to backs which helps immensely imo. Also you will 3 players in the top 25 on your team. That should be a great start. -
A resounding no for me http://insidethepylon.com/film-study/film-study-nfl/offense-film-study-nfl/2016/02/01/bryan-storks-head-bob-costs-patriots/ The Denver Broncos formidable defense was even better than advertised against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. However, careful review of the film – and some help from Tom E. Curran – shows that they were receiving help from an unlikely source. Philip Kibbey explains how Bryan Stork was tipping the snap on nearly every down.

Sheesh we are like one post away from summoning Badol to this thread please lets stop! You started with he stomped some cops which there is no evidence nor was he charged. Now you have changed it to brawled with cops and the video shows a blurry person who maybe might possibly be McCoy throwing a punch. In any case he wasn't charged. Perhaps there is more to the story than you or I know? Can we now get back to discussing the video? Great Job Erik - I see you on Reddit as well. Love the Billscentric information keep it coming please!

Is Cyrus Kouandjio Still a Bust?
section122 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do usually try to give people the benefit of the doubt that they are talking relative to others in the profession but yep. Vick is a great example. He was inaccurate but it didn't matter. He was likely the best athlete in the entire NFL. That is incredible. I have stood next to a few NFLers and there pure size amazed me. Then talking about them running sub 5 seconds for 40 yards... Jeez. I always wondered what the US Team would be like if Soccer was as big here as it is elsewhere. Putting some of these NBA/NFL players on a soccer field would be interesting. -

I played Soccer in college but had no illusions of going pro lol. It was so involved though and took up so much of my time I often wondered what it would have to be like for D1 Basketball/Football players. I love Soccer and by the end of the season I would be burnt out. It was beyond a full time job. I get Ricky Williams. Sometimes the fun gets taken out of the "game." These guys do have to pour everything in to it as you say. Now I ref and it has given me perspective for the guys in stripes. I have a hard time booing them. The rule books are so obnoxious for sports these days, the rules have the letter of the law and the spirit of them, fans don't know them as well as they think they do, and you have to rely on what you saw in full speed while everyone else gets the benefit of super slo-motion. I feel for some of them. Then there are guys who have it out for a team (yes it happens even in HS) a la Walt Coleman who I can't stand. Or guys who want it to be about them (Hochuli - although he is a good ref). I don't mind when those guys get some heat and yes Bobby Sura could ball! That is kind of my point though lol. A name that is likely forgotten by a majority of people was the best player on the court that day and it blew my mind lol. Gave me a much different perspective on the pro athlete (I was still in HS with delusions of grandeur ) -
New Miami offense making opponents sick, literally
section122 replied to NoSaint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As we all saw in SB 25 ball control is the kryptonite to this style. Good thing the Bills employ it! On a side note... Playing sports year round as a kid I never once threw up from playing. It would really surprise me if a professional athlete would in the second preseason game where I doubt they are going 110% and are only playing for a quarter or 2. Nobody else has substantiated this comment from Landry and I'm thinking it may be a bit of hyperbole. -

I always have to catch myself. Especially NBA players. I watched a preseason game live and Bobby Sura and LaMond Murray tore up the court and put on a show (how about those names lol). Even the worst players on the court/field are likely better at what they do than I ever will be at anything. -
Then you must not have watched the video... Moving on.... It looks like Tyrod may have been a beat late with his throw to McCoy. He takes one extra hop before unleashing the ball. Also it is hard to tell from the angle but why did the lb drop his hand instead of trying to tip the pass?
-
Your style isn't over anyone's head. It is tired and obnoxious.... It is sad though. When you actually discuss football you make good posts. However when you play WEO jr.....

I have to second COD being hot garbage anymore. It used to be the only game I play but the last 3 efforts have been sub par to say the least. Rocket League is a fun little game that is either free or dirt cheap with ps+. It is soccer with RC cars and a ton of fun. One of those games that takes a minute to learn but a long time to master.
-
I'm assuming you went Elliott first which I get if you like him but I don't like him over some of the guys you must have passed on. Good job getting Morris as the handcuff. I really like your starting WRs as well as Aiken althoughI like Landry better in PPR. I'm thinking Fuller will be your cut for a bye as a rookie wr with a crappy qb doesn't sound like a recipe for success. If I'm guessing 1. Elliott 2. ARob 3. Rawls 4. Landry 5. Olsen Where did you go in round 6? Ballsy going Jameis with not other option. Starting QB and Flex are the biggest question marks in your starting lineup for me. Good spots to have question marks as the waiver can provide an answer to both of those spots. Just some feedback for fun

Josh Gordon - Would you trade for him?
section122 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Supposedly have been offered up to a 3rd but the Browns aren't interested in trading him.
