  1. Reminded me of Lamar Jackson in the playoffs
  2. Smart. He won't get injured that way! 😉
  3. what, no flag?
  4. He had two hands on it and made a football move pulling it in.. that's a pick
  5. The 1st one was seriously suspect. This one was pretty obvious.
  6. Maybe double check?
  7. I'm watching through a web browser and it's available.
  8. It must be all the running he's been doing tonight..
  9. Get serious. Let's start comparing the holders for kicks.
  10. It was an awful trade when they made it. He was a very limited player who gets confused when the ball is in the air. Given that it's been a passing league.. trading 2 1sts for safety that is really an undersized linebacker was stupid. Not to mention he made it very clear he wanted a new blockbuster contract. Seahawks are a better team with him off the field. So giving him an insane contract to try to make the trade not look so bad was doubling down and could very well be a big part of the current regime in Seattle not being current for long.
  11. I wonder how many times we're gonna see this over the next few years
  12. The numbers are based on the % of inquiry numbers being thrown around are per 'type' of play (ie being "in the pocket" has had more injuries per play than designed QB runs). "Running" QBs (and all QBs) are injured at a higher % on non-running plays. For example, Cam Newton's first big injury was trying to make a tackle on an interception. RGIII got injured trying to recover a fumble. There's a narrative that 'running' QBs take hits that take a toll over their careers, but there's very little data on that because Pocket Passers have generally been the prevalence and there have been very few "elite" running QBs over the history of the game to really have a comparison compared to pocket passers who are promising then flame out. I think this is a confused take because RGIII just wasn't a good QB. He made up for that by running, but by getting injured (in the pocket recovering a fumble) he remove his ability to make plays running and then couldn't pass well enough. It's hard to argue that he had been in the league (and college) long enough for the 'hits to accumulate' making his body weaker. He just wasn't a complete player. I'd also suppose that age is much more dangerous to running QBs than the 'hits' they take running the ball. That said, I'm 100% on board with limiting the designed runs. I think they're stupid, but because of the 'injury risk', but because I believe Allen is more dangerous with his arm and 'option' to scramble if it breaks down on most plays.
  13. Curious, who took more hits last season, Allen or Burrow?
  14. Thought this was some sort of joke/meme I didn't get
  15. Too much missing info, but I think if the choice is "risky" for the Titans or "not 100%" then I hold him out for the Dolphins. This is not the Titans of the last couple years who "play down to their opponent". They are not as good of a team.
  16. I'm not concerned about them not practicing. Neither guy needs every single day of practice during the season. Makes sense to let 'banged up' players rest. If Ed's still in a boot then that would be concerning for his prospects to play.
  17. No idea how you got there, but I bet it was a wild journey.
  18. I overheard Allen at the stadium saying water is wet. This dude knows science too. So amazing.
  19. I know a few secret geniuses. They know they're geniuses, but they've managed to keep it secret from everyone else. I don't know Hackett, but I get the impression he's one too.
  20. Seahawks did everything they could to make the Jets good.
  21. Should have hired Daboll instead of Hackett
  22. I'm not sure how much you can 'learn' from games you don't watch in week 1. You can't even base it on trends or analysis from others over the course of several games showing you patterns. Case in point, anyone who watched that game knows Baltimore struggled mightily on offense until Jets defense gave up after watching Flacco go through 2 quarters.
  23. Honestly, Bills fans are just as sensitive about Allen now. Difference is, Allen is a legit superstar. I don't think Miami makes the playoffs and Tua has a mediocre stat year. There is nothing special about him. He is not quite Jimmy G. 😉
  24. Dolphin fans are very excited about their offense scoring 13 points.. which to be fair.. is more than they scored in 2 games against the Bills last year.
