to be clear, I haven't changed my opinion on him. I think he's making the team. I'm simply responding to the idea that Crowder made some sort of decision to not catch it to avoid a hit. He's not in a position to do that.

I was big on Crowder. I think he's a solid player derailed by injuries and on some real bad teams. He was heart and soul of the Jets 2 years ago in a miserable season, but he's not in a position to make that decision unless he was specifically told that (and I doubt he was). He's gotta come down with that even if it wasn't a great throw.

My bad if this is genuine question. The risks that one of them stubs their toe and misses the opener is way too high for any extremely microscopic 'getting the rust off' gains. Zach Wilson had a non-contact injury trying to cut inside on a scramble.. in pre-season.

Get ready for a heavy dose of the the run in this game. They're going to work the backup O line on that heavily. They could care not about 'gameplanning' for this to win. They have things they want to see.

I think him being one and done depends a lot of what Daboll does actually. If the Giants faceplant, I think he needs two years. Regardless, it wasn't by accident they have a few other guys who are viable candidates for replacement.

No. I'd be drafting a new QB. He was literally the worst QB in the NFL his first year in which he was also injured. He was only in the 2nd position because he threw such a god awful in the 1st drive then he did something incredibly stupid in a pre-season game because of it. His brain has been the knock on him.

Bojo gonna have a big year. That team is going to be putrid. They didn't consider how the players are going to react to them going all in like that for scum like Watson who won't even play. They just wasted a year of all the offensive skill players careers. No wonder Hunt wants to get paid now.
