I think there's two things..
1. Unimaginable tragedy at the start of the year
2. He's being asked to do more in a blocking role as the offensive line is utterly putrid
1. Why would the Bills let the contract be bought out?
2. If he left during the season, he'd never work in the NFL again.
Whoever has 'that line of thinking' is an idiot.
They can manage it well enough, but it doesn't seem to be in the game plan anymore. It is extremely effective in countering what teams are doing to the Bills especially without a physically dominating run game.
Literally would make them worse if he played. He can't hang onto the ball which is why the broncos (fighting hard to be the worst team in the league with the texans) cut him. The silly panic on here has reached all new highs (lows).
Ya know, this game has given me time to think and I feel like the XFL should set itself apart and remove all rules regarding steroids, performance enhancers, cryborg limbs, etc.
You guys are way too harsh. Just like how Josh Allen is the leading rusher and the QB week after week being the best at two things.. no one else in the NFL is being their teams QB and best call of duty player every week.
The regular season is practice for the Bills. It would be nice if they looked a tad better in practice and didn't have multiple guys getting injured every week, but ya know.. it's practice..
I'd love to see him back. He and Poyer are the backbone of the defense. That said, if Poyer if fully healthy and playing then I think Hamlin can play well enough.
