  1. I'm guessing the mods are leaving this open to contain it. Otherwise, you'd have someone making a new thread on it every 5 minutes and talking about it in other threads. People have very little self control and wouldn't be able to help themselves. So while, in theory, I'd agree that all that can be said about this has been said.. in practice, it's probably for the best that this thread keeps going.
  2. *if* the Bills knew and they should have known.. this is bad. The investigators hired by NFL teams are not slouches and an active police investigation is not hard to find. They have made a very large blunder for.. a punter. Guilty or innocent, this was a bad move for the Bills and they need to get a lot of information very quickly. If it looks like he was involved, they need to make the right decision very quickly and give a good explanation to the fans.
  3. If the NFL regulates player behavior at a strip club.. I think a joint practice is likely fair game. I don't think he gets anything for this though.
  4. I think the gase comparison is because he's hailed as an offensive genius with little to no resume that makes that case.
  5. Mongo followed that same O line coach to the Giants. I wouldn't put much stock in anything Mongo says at this point. Did you see the crap he pulled in giants camp? He "played dead" then got up and sucker punched another player. I agree that Bobby Johnsons was not an effective coach for the way the Bills want to play.
  6. The players do apparently love him because he lets have time off to go smoke weed and whatnot. Like kids love grandma who lets them eat all the candy they want.. I had Miami as the clear #2 in the division, but the more I see of them.. along with the hilarious attempts at propaganda around Tua's ability to throw deep. Like, who cares if people think Tua can do it? If he's doing it, then everyone will find out week 1. The very fact that they think they need to do all this promotion of Tua (after trying to replace him at all costs the last couple years) just reeks.
  7. I have no idea why so many Miami fans are so in love with him.. Shanahan wouldn't even make him offensive coordinator until last year when LaFluer left for the Jets. They literally had no offensive coordinator instead of making him coordinator.
  8. The NFL has been changing the rules to promote passing and scoring. DBs used to be able to mug guys and that often took awhile for WRs to learn to deal with. The rules being enforced to the degree they are now makes it a lot easier for WRs to transition to the NFL.
  9. Hill was KC's #1 WR, but he's not their #1 pass catcher. They did not move on from Kelce. Let's see what happens in GB. Rodgers is already complaining that his WRs suck.
  10. Hodgins *can* play special teams and has been taking snaps there. The question is whether the difference between Hodgins and Kumerow's ability on specials is worth keeping Kumerow who seems to offer less at WR. Then to a question of whether you want to keep 7 WRs or keep a guy like Cam Lewis.
  11. I have my doubts on this evaluation. I'd be interested in specific examples so we can pull up the clips and evaluate. He had a fair number of catches and yards for not being able to pull away.. like quit a bit more than Dawson Knox who had way more talent on the field with him than Gesicki did and Knox was really, really good as a pass catcher last year.
  12. I think he's a very good player, but not a fit for the Bills. They have plenty of pass catchers and are paying them less. And yea, there's no way they'd trade him in the division let alone to the Bills.
  13. I don't think that poster was 'taking a shot' at Beane about it. Beane makes mistakes and like I said, the thing that makes him great at his job is he recognizes it and makes moves to correct them. We can talk about mistakes made and still have a very high opinion of the people who made them.
  14. Wait, I thought we on to Elam to get a head start of Emdunds maybe not being here.
  15. His 40 time is is right in the neighborhood of these WRs: 1. Chris Godwin 2. Tyler Lockett 3. Deebo Samuel 4. Hunter Renfrow 5. Tyler Boyd 6. Devante Adams 7. Cooper Kupp So I'd be surprised if his speed is an issue. I'd be interested to know what lead you to believe he's slow.
  16. Contract year and he's looking to get paid
  17. For some reason, he's become Tremaine Edmunds to their fans, but he seems to be on the outs with their staff for some reason. They do prefer TEs who can block and catch, but I don't understand why they just don't use him like a slot receiver out of a 2 TE set or something. Given his receiving prowess, it seems like an offensive genius could find a way to use him. McDaniel feels to me like one of those guys who doesn't design an offense to his players.
  18. not a psychopath? Is he sure? Did his mother have him tested?
  19. Like in a suitcase? Maybe.. depends on how flexible he is..
  20. The problem wasn't calling them, it was more that it seemed to be the first and only answer they went to..
  21. Why wouldn't they use all the time possible before making the decision? They don't really gain anything by making it early.
  22. Regardless of the GM meeting with every player.. making sure to tell them how much respect you have for them as you sh*tcan them sounds like BS
