  1. I feel like people don't really understand just how bad a punter Haack was last season. Several guys that are out on the street right now would be upgrades.
  2. Cole Beasley thinks he's a talented rapper.
  3. Both lawyers seem to be pushing the bounds of decency. Araiza's lawyer is an arse.
  4. I see them in the 4-6 wins range. So a drastic improvement from the previous couple years.
  5. The Giants have Webb. I doubt they go after Barkley.
  6. watching jets fans try to convince themselves that Joe Flacco who hasn't won a game since 2019 would be a solid starter for them has been fun
  7. Your not thinking about this correctly. Giving Poyer 1 year next season is not security. He's likely got one more bite at the apple. He can play out this year then look for a 2-3 year deal. If he got a 1 year extension, that's unlikely to happen in 2024.
  8. Yes, but if there are injuries, expect him to see a lot more action wherever that is..
  9. No team will touch him until the criminal and civil cases are resolved. If the DA declines to prosecute and he settles the civil case (or it gets dropped) quickly then he could see a team look his way later this year. All other options would take too much time for a team to look at him this year. If the criminal or civil case is resolved by him losing in court then yea, never.
  10. How long do you folks who have this fear think it's going to take to get cleared up? It's going to be weeks before the DA makes a decision on whether to prosecute. Longer for the grand jury. If it goes forward, the criminal case probably isn't going to get resolved this year. Until that time, every single player who does an interview is gonna be asked about it. It's going be everywhere. Now, by the time they play the Rams, this will be an old story.
  11. of the guys out there, I'd go for Jordan Berry. He punted in inclement weather in reports say that he probably 'won' the punting competition for the Vikings, but not by enough to keep him over the rookie they drafted. He would be an upgrade over Haack.
  12. Yes, but at that point I think a team might consider it. Right now, it's beyond any feasibility that he gets picked up. To be clear, any team that does it is disgusting.
  13. If he comes to a settlement and DA doesn't prosecute then he could get picked up later in the year, but until that is resolved, not team can touch him without getting a nuclear meltdown of PR.
  14. I notice you have a lot to say, but don't want to elaborate on your statement about making a rape victim whole. Please, enlighten us.
  15. If it's true.. How, exactly, do you think you make a rape victim "whole"?
  16. Regardless, Araiza made bad decisions that put him in a situation where he was exposed. Since then he kept it from the team in some capacity. His lawyer is doing things that are inappropriate and apparently not communicating to the Bills what they're doing. They don't need this distraction. McDermott looked shook. This could easily snowball if it was kept from McDermott somewhere along the line. Cut him now. He can cry into his guaranteed $700,000.
  17. Well, it's Case Keenum and 2nd/3rd string for the Bills. It's the 90% of the starting offense for the Patriots against Raiders backups.
  18. even though the starters didn't play for the most part, hopefully this is sobering and gets them focused on week 1
  19. because of duke? Duke wasn't making the team before this game started.
