  1. I think they need to replace the emotional part of Daboll who managed to keep players more even.
  2. Perhaps, you need to work on comprehension. If you're speaking about a particular event and someone says, "the best thing" then you ought to understand it's referring to the event. I understand the appeal this fake account has for you with such great and fresh material like "you must be a blast at parties"..
  3. a bills fan pretending to be a jets fan is the best thing? ok then.
  4. He didn't say anything beyond what he was expected to say about another player.
  5. thought he'd score internet points..but..
  6. that he implies that Becton is Dawkins equivalent truly shows he's an idiot. It also ignores that the Jets made dumb decision after decision to get themselves in that spot. Relying on Becton after he repeatedly failed to adhere to his rehab program and failed to follow his diet and couldn't get to a reasonable weight then being surprised when he has knee issues at that size is a bad decision by a GM. Then double down on it by having ZERO backup plan forcing you to sign an aging, injured guy for 10 million is again.. a bad decision by the GM. Regardless, the jets have been saved by the miracle that Breece Hall has been. They would have 2 wins without him regardless of their offense line. If you rely on a 'smallish' back to be 100% of your offense then are surprised when he gets hurt... well, again.. a bad decision by the GM. The Bills defense has been hit hard on d-line and secondary, but are still at the top of the league. It's almost like they knew injuries are a thing. Thad Hall: Teams that make bad decisions are bad!
  7. An extremely high percentage of players would do it all over again if you offered them the chance today even knowing what they know. Money is a powerful drug. Yes, youth football is declining, but I think the health issues are just one part of the puzzle. Twenty years ago the terms 'esports' wasn't a real thing. There's many other draws on a young person's attention now and the social status aspect of Football is no longer what it once was.. I believe there are other things that will 'kill' football before the concern over post-career health does..
  8. Some good points about the trade deadline that I hadn't thought about
  9. I'm not sure this focus on #1/#2 is worthwhile as the Bills have rarely ever had a CB match up against particular players or have some sort of "#1/#2" CB role on their defense. They usually stick to their 'side' of the field and play whomever is their responsibility. This whole #1/#2 CB thing is a game of words when it comes to the Bills.
  10. I've been watching what I can find on him and I like the move a lot. He does a few things that I think the Bills have struggled with on runs/shorts passes. 1. He catches the ball, then makes a move. I've felt that too many times this year, I've seen guys worry about making the play after catching the ball and it ending up on the turf. 2. He's surprisingly north/south(ish). He does run outside, but I've felt like the Bills have tried running outside and run out of space. He tends to make a cut before he gets to the sideline and make a guy miss then he has room to run towards the sideline still if he needs it. 3. He seems to make the 1st guy miss. I didn't see him getting tackled solo a lot and he doesn't get slowed down trying to get around that guy. I've also felt the Bills have struggled with letting the first guy make the tackle on short passes/screens or spend so much time getting away from that 1st guy that the rest of the defense is there. He also has a crazy high catch rate and like I mentioned is good at making sure he catches the ball. He seems to have a good focus on it then transition smoothly to running. The speed helps there and lets him get moving north/south where he's shifty. Coupled with his ability to run to the outside of the tackles (and cut up instead of trying to outrun everyone to the sideline) and the possibility of the Bills running the "McKenzie" play where he lines up as a WR and motions across the line to run the opposite direction (and it's ability to have him motion as a decoy) should be a good fit. I'm looking forward to what he can do with this offense and what adding the element of teams needing to worry more about that part of the Bills offense will do for the whole team.
  11. I'm worried we let another Robert Foster get away
  12. No one measures it per reception, but yes.. now that you point it out.. I'm very concerned about Deebo Samuel (1 drop per 4.6 receptions), Gabriel Davis (1 drop per 5.3 receptions), DK Metcalf (1 drop per 6.1 receptions)
  13. The number of drops doesn't change... Davis has 3 drops.
  14. Now if they just keep using it throughout the whole game and don't forget it exists for long parts of games.
  15. His versatility is 100% why they want him. This is more about having a receiving threat than another RB, but they have to love the ability to have him run routes or carry the ball on any given play. Throw in special teams and his 'work ethic' to make him the exact type of player that Beane loves.
  16. At this point, that he's still on here has to be a mod playing a part to drum up conversation. After all, people can't help, but to respond to him to tell he's wrong.
  17. Dolphins still haven't figured out that trading picks for proven talent is ok.. if you don't have to give them tons of money too.
  18. Hyde and Poyer were involved in the one with Arizona last year..
