They've got to get this under control. They lost to two divisional teams. They are 3rd in the division and look like they can't compete with Miami and Jets. If you're really 'win at all costs' then start taking the easy stuff. The offense moves when they do that, but with Dorsey it's too easy for him and Allen to go for the big play... and keep trying it. Offenses need to move the ball then take a shot.. not take shots until it's 3rd down then throw a 10 yard or less play.

I'd bet a lot that he's been promised more (Irsay's comment even indicate this).. they just can't make him HC without conducting the sham process. Irsay acts like a fan. He wants change whenever things don't go the way he thinks they should regardless if change would actually make the situation better.

This seems to be the problem and something I worried about with Dorsey. They're both guys that want to hit the big play over and over. They got rolling with big plays and they seem to be trying to hit it at least once every 2-3 downs. Since they've ignored the run game.. and Josh's passes on short throws tend to be 'off' forcing the catcher to take time to catch them.. that's not an effective replacement for the running game. In addition, Allen seems to not be throwing with touch and gunning passes. It feels like he's trying way, way too hard.

McDermott has to start being questioned. Too many of these performances. Offensive line is still an issue. Defensive line has disappeared for a bit now.
