I think you evaluate the situation as it develops and decide what to do based on the circumstances at the time. Locking yourself into any particular "WE MUST TRADE BACK" scenario is awfully limiting.

Bills fans are the worst. The boards for the other teams int he division don't like the idea of Kincaid on the Bills.

There's a million possibilities.. maybe he overthinks things and 'task saturation' will force him to make different decisions, maybe he'll rely more on others to make those decisions, it may not impact that part of the job at all.

That doesn't answer the question about why you think calling plays is going to make a difference in something you believe him to already be bad at when he's not calling plays..

If he's already 'bad' at it and hasn't shown "adequacy" over several years, what leads you to believe that he'd be better at it this upcoming season by continuing to not take on more responsibilities?

The league year started on September 5th, 2019. 1. 2019 2. 2020 3. 2021 4. 2022 5. 2023 It would be a silly argument that because he was hired in the offseason after many moves were made that his 1st year of being employed somehow doesn't count as being employed. The list of GMs who manage to make the playoffs after 4 years of not making the playoffs is extremely short.. and betting on an exception isn't a wise bet.

Mac is a fringe starter. Mac and Wilson aren't in the same stratosphere. Not making the playoffs for five years in a row isn't a stunning testament as to why a GM should keep his job.
