  1. toshiero is a known troll. He makes threads with idiotic stuff so he can get a rise out of people. Congratulations on those of you who fell for it.
  2. well, he said he'd do porn if he got cut so I guess we'll be seeing a lot of Chad Johnson (I don't think the dolphins cut him...there's nothing there if they cut him)
  3. The bills have also been shedding players that didn't 'fit'. Given his performance, I don't think they spent a lot of time worrying him if they didn't accept the number they gave him.
  4. Actually, it would be Hairston, right? It's the former left tackles the Eagles like.
  5. You do know it was a preseason game and they weren't worried about Fred Jackson being able to run the ball, right? They kinda know what they have with him. Receivers...not so much.
  6. and yet they sucked in the preseason. Crazy.
  7. People actually believe that is an indication that the Bills don't plan to run the ball this season. There's just a point of no return where some people won't come back from..they're not going to accept anything, but pre-conceived notions.
  8. In preseason, why does anything *need* to be done? If Jackson and Spiller have looked good in practice and seem to have their roles down, why would not work on the problem areas?
  9. I thought they might run a more regular paced offense. The communication in the no huddle seemed to be pretty bad and Glenn seemed to struggle and get stood up a lot. It's less than I expected, but it's a preseason game. There's just a lot of posters on here that swing one way and only one way to an extreme which I think skews the expectations of readers. There were 2 maybe 3 throws that looked really bad. The rest seemed to be misfires on timing routes or lack of communication with receivers. If those issues persist, then it is a cause for concern. In the 1st preseason game, something to talk about, but nothing to read any great deal into. Its a perfect example. The New England Offense is based on timing routes and they have looked terrible before in preseason. It hammers home the point that preseason isn't about 'looking good', it's about fixing mistakes.
  10. I make it a point, that despite my instincts, whatever toshiero says, to believe the exact opposite. I have more faith in him being wrong than anything else.
  11. Did anyone hit him?
  12. It seemed to be difficult on the line and receivers.
  13. Don't bring logic like that in here. Next thing you'll believe they could possibly have looked at running plays they were bad at in practice with no regard for the score or how polished they looked to fans!
  14. The first pre-season game means less than nothing. Brady looked bad...does anyone believe he'll look bad in the season?
  15. The whole, "Why not? It can't hurt" sentiment is wrong. There are very few things in the world that are outright wrong, but this is one of them. If you bring in a guy like him, it sends a very clear message. We don't care how hard you work or what you have done. This guy is going to come in here and take your reps away from you because despite a lot of evidence to the contrary, he may possibly under a lucky star be better than you. So tell me how bringing in a guy totally unfamiliar with the offense, age 34, known as a 'problem' to compete with a guy who outclassed him in every category sends a good message? If you work hard, perform better and act like a decent human being, it doesn't matter because this guy is a name fans have heard of before! If there is justification for bring in a guy to compete, then great. There is absolutely zero justification for bringing him in..
  16. not enough attention! Must have attention! RAGAHAHDJGL
  17. I think it would be more likely that you would have like 'gymnastics' in one country and 'swimming' in the other. There's many other factors that I think torpedo this idea though.
  18. brain damage is always serious
  19. to be fair, there are plenty of other things to tear the Jets apart.
  20. The 'Figured out' portion of the season had them in the top half of offenses in the league.
  21. Wow, so his entire plan is basically asking someone else to do something? Great plan. Even better, it's asking someone else to lend someone else money.
  22. It could be a case of reporter circle jerk where he gets his information from other reporters and then sprinkles in his own genius.
  23. Exactly. If you have a defense with the talent level of the Jets and system like what Ryan runs, you can have a player who is nothing, but a pure pass rusher. When you can match him up in the right situation, he does well, but he has only ever shown that he can perform under those very specific circumstances. The Bills still aren't close to being a defense that can afford to have a player like that on the field.
  24. Very likely. I think the Preseason Live service given the ability to watch games whenever and rewind, etc is worth the $20. I think the blackouts for services like this are beyond ridiculous though.
