    They want more than a 3rd and he's a risk ala Rob Johnson/Kolb. You have to be careful with backups like this as defense didn't really have a lot of film on them to gameplan. Same way some rookies look good their rookie years then become pedestrian when they defenses start looking to neutralize them.

    I saw a Bills security guy playing two hand touch with his son. Obvious bias and they are going to draft that kid when he is eligible. No wonder things never get better.

    So I guess if nobody said anything about the hire you'd be ranting about how no one is saying anything about the new coach? It takes a large leap that guys praising a guy is a huge conspiracy orchestrated by Brandon to get guys whom he has no apparent ties or connection with to say good things about his coaching hire.

    I could say McKelvin being a Pettine type of player. Not fantastic at his position overall, but strong skills in one area that can be schemed around.

    People treat these quotes like they are some sort of deep insight into the process. It's kinda silly. In short, he said don't get so married to one player that you trade your entire draft for Ricky Williams.

    Campbell got ridiculous money. He didn't live up to that contract and was dumped. We all know the story with Briere and Drury and that the decision may not have been Regier's call. There's plenty of things to criticize the guy about so there isn't much need to reach for things like this.

    to people on this board who live for grinding the ax, it is...him not making statements would be just as big of a sign that he's going to make a bad decision. His breathing would also be a huge indicator.

    The Jets aren't handling it well, but to pretend that the owner who is over the cap would 'rather' trade him than pay him is a stupid statement.

    This is a case of the TBD affliction "I'm upset. Make me feel better". Unloading Fitz *at all costs* does not help the team get better. It makes you feel better, but dropping players 'just because' has no merit. You may not like Fitz and want an upgrade, but if Tom Brady became a Bill tomorrow, the team is not helped one iota by arbitrarily cutting Fitz.
