    Flacco made a crazy gamble and it turned out in his favor. He doesn't turn in an amazing post season and his deal isn't close to what it is now. Newsome made a wise move. The QB is the one player you can afford to pay and inflated price to if you lose the gamble. Newsome lost the gamble and won a superbowl.

    The Bills have money to sign him. They're simply not going to be irresponsible. If you want Byrd at 9 million, you're going to lose someone. Just like when people were all, "PAY FRED". Imagine if we had given Fred 5-6 million a year like people wanted.

    I think this is overblown. I saw someone at Jets practice overheard Rex talking about Sanchez's happy feet in very excited tones.

    I'm sure there are plenty of things you can hit the various NFL teams on in regards to dodging taxes. I'm sure there's a few irish corporations with no employees out there. This is a non-story though.

    You explained you 'feel' one way. Which is perfectly fine and understandable, that's what most of us do. It's just important to remember that our feelings aren't always correct.

    Yep. It will only get worse. No one is going to point the finger at themselves and say, 'Hey, our shows suck'. Remember back when MTV played music and ESPN had sports coverage?

    Simple or complex..it requires execution. The Patriots can execute their offense with nearly flawless precision. If you only have one play and nobody can stop it who cares that you only have one play?

    Read the posts in this thread. People seem to believe that Manuel, Wilson, and Kaepernick are the only QBs in the league who can run it.

    He 'won' on a technicality. It's not like he was tested and showed clean. They had 'chain of custody issues'. It's interesting for sure. Is Seattle taking banned substances to a greater degree than the rest of the league and reaping benefits or are they taking the same amount, but just bad at it?

    Incredibly unlikely. They haven't even taken snaps yet and there's a lot of rookies out there and some in very good positions to succeed.

    It's about execution. If you have five plays and can execute them perfectly, every time, you will do well.
