What's your answer? You're mad because they didn't draft a 5th - 7th round qb (that wouldn't be the backup anyway)? Again, who is the guy they missed out on that you believe "solves" this backup QB problem. You don't seem to have any actual answer so either you're looking for attention or just flailing around.

A couple thoughts.. 1. This group of WRs reminds of bringing in Brown and Beasely in that they were what Allen needed at the time. The guys they've collected are "built for Josh Allen" and what he needs from his pass catchers to be successful. He needs guys who can catch the ball. He'll find a way to get it to them. I think there's a motto here "Be Tall and catch the ball" 2. I'm happy to hear about the increased use of motion. It was something Daboll did for Josh that really seemed to help him diagnose defenses. It seems like they got away from that as Josh "matured" and I don't think he was an effective at diagnosing all the things defense started doing against him. 3. It's day 1 with no pads on

He doesn't even have to "afford" it. The NFL has a program that provides private drivers for players that they can call anytime. In addition, teams often have their own similar programs. It can be used as much as a player wants at no cost to them. It will even take them back to get their vehicle or they can make arrangements to have their vehicle driven home for them.

Next question to Patty should be, "Have you asked your dad to stop driving and set him with a car service?"

The numbers for QBs over 40 are bad in almost every regard. Outside of Brady.. there's a couple mediocre seasons, but the rest are not something you'd be excited about. I think Tyrod Taylor and his mundane, don't turn the ball over, play is more exciting for the jets imo.

Two QBs have made it through a 16 game season at or over the age of 40 in the history of the NFL. Brett Favre did it one time and Tom Brady managed it as well. The numbers for QBs over 40 are bad in almost every regard. You can probably guess what the numbers are for QBs over 40 coming off a major injury are..
