Why do you insist on being purposely being ignorant? The Sabres are widely considered around the NHL to be a team that is doing one of the best jobs of rebuilding. They're prospect pool is currently considered the best in the league by many sources. You can't just flip a switch and say "We're awesome and gonna win games." If the meds are banned...why is he *in* the NFL? If he has so little control over his actions that he 'can't' quit the NFL then why has someone not had him committed? Your argument that he has social anxiety to such a degree that he's incable of controlling himself, he can't make decisions and is off his meds is making a huge jump compared to....he just wants publicity.

Why are you ignoring that he has chosen the spotlight at every opportunity? Why did he choose a career in what is far and away the most high profile league in the country? He's already made a lot of money, why would someone with such severe anxiety stay in that same league?

If his issue is so severe, he's welcome to stop working for the NFL. No one is forcing him to take a job that has such a high public profile. Reporters are rarely interested in the guy working the drive through at McDonalds.
