  1. The league actually has made moves to reduce the problems. You get players like Rodney Harrison bitching about it. They tried to change helmets to a safer design and players didn't like the impact it had on their performance and thus their ability to get paid. The NFLPA is the one that should be taking the blame. They have not simply put no effort into it, but they have actively pushed back against changes to help. I think they should just pay the players then charge them the normal rates that students pay. Sure, it will likely end up causing a number of lesser players to have to start paying, but who cares! Everything always works out how people say it will and the talking heads have decided that college players need to be paid!
  2. Will he? Has Stevie learned to run routes yet and not make it up as he goes?
  3. No, what needs to be discussed is the NFLPA's complete lack of action on the issue. The resistance of the NFLPA to actions the league did try to take like changing helmets.
  4. He would not have been a fit with Brady. First time he didn't run the route, Brady would have murdered him.
  5. WHY HAVEN'T THEY SIGNED CLAY YET?! IS BUDDY ASLEEP?! MCCOY IS OVER-RATED! WE COULD HAVE HAD MURRAY FOR NOTHING! I HAD AN ORGASM THINKING ABOUT CHIP KELLY!
  6. He needs to control games. He needs to be a central presence in every game played.
  7. Don't you understand. I want said player traded and for a 1st round pick so it will happen. Obviously.
  8. Willis was not a dominating force. Nothing to do with how long he played.
  9. Brady would murder Stevie Johnson. I hope it happens because Brady being in Jail would be a huge boon for the Bills.
  10. He was going to be a 'gadget' guy anywhere. We probably offered more cash.
  11. Don't care for Harvin, but a one year deal. It's his last chance to 'prove it'.
  12. I completely agree you can and should make the statement on what you have seen. However, I think we all should take a step back and realize what we see may not be the reality and that statement like "He was really bad", "He was pushed back" or "he got blown up all the time" are pretty general statement and don't show any particular understanding of the position or play. That doesn't mean the point isn't valid, but specifics are what breed confidence in other posters that your knowledge is worth trusting.
  13. Why? There were a lot of good RBs available who have a history of producing.
  14. It's not like one thing barred the other. Also, given the lack of quality guards a lot of these FA guards have been attributed skills they don't necessarily have.
  15. when we see the contract, a lot of people will be less upset.

  17. I get the excitement. I do. Let's keep in mind, the Bills have only actually signed...what,one free agent? Felton.
  18. to be fair, multiple unrelated coaches who didn't have success.
  19. stop giving them attention. This thread just gave them more attention. Their job is TO GET ATTENTION. It doesn't matter how they get it.
