I think it would have been better if Romo managed to play a season or two before he had to be the starter on a team with a terrible defense that has playoff aspirations and zero other options at QB is Dak doesn't play at a high level.
If it was his 1st time with effort issues, sure. He had problems in Houston and then went on to have a few good years here then took a year off. He got called out for it. He has been asked about in camp and then came out and got embarrassed looking like he had no idea how to tackle.
I'm genuinely interested in what makes him poor at being commissioner, but it's hard to get much in the way of exact answers. This is a good reason, but hardly seems a footnote in the long term. Is discipline the only consideration in determining his worth as commissioner?
