Now would be a good time to move Douglas to Safety
Malazan replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Josh Allen has good athleticism and knows how QBs think. Moving him to Safety could really solve the depth problem there. -

I'll let Vic Fangio answer this question as I think he may know something about defense.. "You say you've seen that a lot over the years," he said. "The truth is: No, you haven't. The list of guys successfully transitioning from corner to safety is very small -- with success. … We'll see if he can do that." ~ Fangio talking about James Bradberry transitioning from corner to safety. -

The insistence by the Jets to keep playing him well after it was obvious he couldn't play QB probably puts him over the top imo

Especially given that ~half the targets to Davis ended up as dead plays.

James Cook has less touches than Ray Davis over past 5 seasons
Malazan replied to freddyjj's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's also irrelevant because you don't keep RBs on their 2nd contract. Cook's will be up and he'll likely move on then Davis will still be fairly young and play out his contract and the next RB will come in -
The people watching Patriots camp.. don't agree that Maye has been tearing it up. The reports say he's been having footwork issues, doesn't anticipate throws and tries to use his arm strength to make up for it. Patriots fans for the most part don't want him starting because he hasn't looked like he's close to ready.

His problem was that he only had flash. No consistency. His highest catch rate for a season is 55%

Tough to work his G&T class flex into being a pharoah. Elsewhere, G&T damage control has sprung into action after Rodgers announced he was in the program.

QB2 is a problem and has been ignored for years
Malazan replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's called ragebait. There's a funny bit that gets passed around IT circles that if you want a fast answer to your question on the internet is to post your question then create an account and post an answer to your question that is incredibly wrong. Your question alone might never get an answer, but with a really bad answer.. it will get 100 good ones. -

I actually heard through my sources that Allen died from his ankle problem 2 days ago and it's been a weekend at Bernie's situation -

That's insane. Sometimes when you see that 31 other teams don't do a thing 99% of the time.. the answer isn't that you're a genius maverick to do the thing. -

Malazan replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
What's your answer? You're mad because they didn't draft a 5th - 7th round qb (that wouldn't be the backup anyway)? Again, who is the guy they missed out on that you believe "solves" this backup QB problem. You don't seem to have any actual answer so either you're looking for attention or just flailing around. -

Who's this magical competent replacement for Josh Allen that the Bills didn't get? -

A couple thoughts.. 1. This group of WRs reminds of bringing in Brown and Beasely in that they were what Allen needed at the time. The guys they've collected are "built for Josh Allen" and what he needs from his pass catchers to be successful. He needs guys who can catch the ball. He'll find a way to get it to them. I think there's a motto here "Be Tall and catch the ball" 2. I'm happy to hear about the increased use of motion. It was something Daboll did for Josh that really seemed to help him diagnose defenses. It seems like they got away from that as Josh "matured" and I don't think he was an effective at diagnosing all the things defense started doing against him. 3. It's day 1 with no pads on -
