  1. This is not about other coaches. The topic is about Belichick. What drives belichick to be a great coach is also what drives him to cheat. If you take away the "motivation" that drives him to cheat then you also take away the "motivation" that makes him a great coach.
  2. Hey, some guy got off from killing 4 people because "Affluenza" made him not know that driving drunk was a bad thing. Sure. No Accountability because no one told you not to do it. Let's do it.
  3. I don't think you can separate the two...what makes him great is what makes him push the line and sometimes cross it. If you take away that which makes him cheat, you take away the same thing that also makes him a great coach.
  4. I would love to pay 15 million in taxes and complain about them being too high
  5. It's a banned substance. If he took it and didn't inform the NFL, it's his own fault. Especially, if it was weed. He and his doctor would both be well aware that the NFL would need to be informed.
  6. Getting upset over people pointing out taylor's issues is sort of silly. He's not a top QB in the league. That's ok. The Bills don't need him to be one of the best.
  7. I know reading is difficult for you, but it specifically states that in my post.
  8. Is that why he's been getting run over all pre-season? Seriously, he's had some LOL moments of getting run right the f*** over. The Dolphins defense was bad last season, it's been bad in pre-season, but I'm sure they'll be just fine...they have such depth at linebacker and corner.
  9. Levitre really turned the Titan's line around though...
  10. I assumed Shady was dead in a 36 car pileup caused by a Russian missile launched into the mainland US that didn't explode so I don't think he overreacted
  11. Rex's Defense wasn't the problem when he was losing for the Jets. He lost because of the offense. His fault, yes, but his defense wasn't some tire fire except for the last season. He makes bad coaching decisions. He doesn't know how to handle an offense. He seems clueless how to instill discipline in a team without his players losing their edge. There's many things to criticize Ryan for, but his defensive scheme is not one of them.
  12. It will be the same contingent that has already declared this season a failure. There are certain people on this board who may not survive the Bills making the playoffs. They have so much of their identity tied up in the Bills not making the playoffs, I'm concerned for their emotional stability if they're not "right" about the Bills anymore.
  13. It's been 1. 1 year. Not infinite. Some people are advocating giving him a 2nd year or possibly a 3rd. That, while longer than 1 year, is still not infinite.
  14. can people manage to post more with less ability to spell the starting QB's name correctly?
  15. what in the actual *** How do teams keep thinking Bradford is going to do anything? Viking front office must think it's a make the payoffs or else year even with the injury. The only way this makes sense is if they made the trade to amuse me in a couple weeks when Bradford gets hurt and is out for the rest of the season. Props to the Eagles for having the foresight to keep the Bradford starting facade and holding onto him.
  16. because he got a 7 page thread...that is his job. He suckered you.
  17. The lunacy is believing that a team would be so sold on EJ that they wouldn't look at other QBs similar talentwise who could be had for much less than a 1st.
  18. That's not evidence. The CBA for example, guarantees the right for a 2nd opinion from a doctor of the player's choice paid for by the team. The only requirement is they see the team physician first. They also have the right to not see the team doctor and pay a doctor of their choice for medical treatment with the only requirement being the team is provided a copy of medical reports. If this was such a concern for the player, why didn't he bring this up in the media at the time? He says he knew he was getting bad advice, but he took no action? Like I always say, the NFL should give the players a dose of what they say they want. Have players be done after 1 concussion. After all, it's so risky to their long term health. Give them automatic second opinions from NFLPA doctors paid for by the NFLPA and if either doctors says they should sit then they sit with no exceptions. Let them take whatever drugs they want. It's shocking how these concerns always become concerns after the fact. Usually, when the money is getting tight.
  19. I thought Lawson was a lock, but wow...who knew that Manny Lawson was the key to a Superbowl run.
  20. The thing about McCoy that surprised me the most was his ability (and willingness) to block in the backfield. It makes him incredibly valuable and makes his 2nd highest salary at RB more palatable.
