Part of it is defense around the league are sucking.
The other part seems to me is they built a quick, penetrating defense, but the NFL changed the rules and holding is being allowed so they can't penetrate now.
That was my 1st reaction, but if that ball was in front of Williams and he is able to run into it then it's an easy 1st. He had to pull up and it killed his momentum allowing him to be tackled like that.
I'd bet Lynn would have started Tyrod again too if he wouldn't have been immediately fired. I like Lynn, but he has some old-school tendencies that seem to cause bad decisions at times.
That was one of the dumbest things I've read. He writes the Bills get an advantage for having extra rest for KC then immediately writes that KC gets an advantage because they will have extra rest for the Bills.

I'm not blaming the OP, but that is not a 'high level NFL executive'. That is someone who works for a team who may or may not be in football ops. The sourcing on this is terrible. It could be the head of marketing.
