I maintain the same position in regards to QBs as always. Regardless of circumstances, surrounding talent, coaching, etc...eventually you have to perform. EJ did not. The league is littered with QBs who if everything around them is perfect can be really good. The great ones make everything around them good. Seriously, you could have had Adam Gase as the coach of Peyton Manning and it wouldn't matter. Manning would have been great.

I think the Bills are a good team, but to be completely fair...their record against teams with a winning record isn't good. That's started to turn this season if the Rams and Raiders maintain winning records (I think they will). To your real point though, a stinker laid against the Titans doesn't change the team into an utter mess. There were certainly concerns that have been hanging around some all season about the defense hammered home. McDermott has faced this before with his defense getting whooped and he's generally turned it right around. Win or lose, play well against KC and a lot of fears will be allayed. The fashion in which they lost means they need a good showing against KC.

He has 8 receptions for 79 yards and 1 TD.. on 12 targets with 1 drop if by trade bait, they mean chum then..yes

The sooner the know experiment ends the better. I'll take reliable over occasionally running over a guy.

I thought the Jets signing Bell for that money was monumentally stupid. The Bills signing for a more reasonable deal to replace yeldon would be alright with me

Well, glad that's over. Hopefully, this is the sh*tkicking the defense needs to get it's act together. It seems difficult to convince McDermott that problems exist, but once he seems to get over the hump, he's generally pretty good at resolving them.

Part of it is defense around the league are sucking. The other part seems to me is they built a quick, penetrating defense, but the NFL changed the rules and holding is being allowed so they can't penetrate now.

Gase mentioned two players that he was scheming to get more involved this year: Herndon and Bell. Both are having absolutely atrocious years.

That was my 1st reaction, but if that ball was in front of Williams and he is able to run into it then it's an easy 1st. He had to pull up and it killed his momentum allowing him to be tackled like that.

I'd bet Lynn would have started Tyrod again too if he wouldn't have been immediately fired. I like Lynn, but he has some old-school tendencies that seem to cause bad decisions at times.

Speaking of Greggo... he's on his way to being the only defensive coordinator for 2, 0-16 teams. I think he's found himself a niche.
