  1. There's no way an extra year would have been added. It's already going to cover him for 6 seasons since it's not voiding the 5th year of his rookie deal which I absolutely expected to happen.
  2. For the Bills, he was only going to get more expensive. Regardless if the cap drops, he's arguably the best corner in the league right now. Locking him up a lower price and not having to negotiate his deal and Milano's at the same time is a huge benefit. For Tre, the uncertainty is probably a factor. I suspect it will be a large deposit into his bank account tomorrow allowing the people managing his money to invest it right away and have at least an extra year of investment income which can be substantial.
  3. WoW. No way did I think he'd come in under 20 per and definitely not over 6 years. That's crazy.
  4. That is a confusing take. Because there's two other talented players who perform at a high level on the team...that suddenly makes them a strong team? Ok, Let's put...Josh Rosen on the Texans and watch the results.
  5. I don't know. I've read a bunch of comments in this thread where people are complaining that the Hall of Fame has..famous players in it.
  6. Then he'd be useless the rest of the weeks because he's not very good.
  7. I'd say a lot of their success has been because of Deshaun Watson covering up an otherwise, weak team.
  8. That will be a huge boon because then we can get the majority of this board tested.
  9. No, you pretty much know with Foles. Outside a couple brief flashes, he has generally sucked.
  10. Pass Yards - Josh Allen Pass TDs - Josh Allen Rush Yards - Josh Allen Rush TDs - Josh Allen Receptions - Josh Allen Rec Yards - Josh Allen Rec TDs - Josh Allen Sacks - Josh Allen INTs - Josh Allen
  11. Turns out...Foles is still not a good QB. Either way the Bears went, I feel like they're going to regret it.
  12. Sure, either way you can have someone on the field who does more to neutralize a defender in some way than just a 'blocking back'
  13. Did they really need to 'confirm' this? Obviously they would trade him as they're likely cutting him.
  14. We're talking more about Namath than we are Brady and he's still playing.
  15. Yea, it's a little shortsighted that a 2nd back's only value is blocking. The point is to neutralize a guy which could be accomplished in more ways than just blocking. You send Moss out to the flat on one side and Singletary to the other and there could be a lot of confusion. So maybe they're average blockers at best, but they have likely neutralized at least 1 guy who's covering them and possibly caused hesitation in others.
  16. This seems to be veering off from, "Joe Namath doesn't have the stats to be in the hall" to some sort of personal vendetta against Namath for...saying something creepy to you when you were interviewing him?
  17. Exactly why signing this guy is not the panacea of pass rush dreams that so many believe it to be
  18. That is not the basis of it. That is what you *want* it to be. You're gonna have to get over the fact that it's not the Hall of Really Great Stats.
  19. I've always found this to be the smart thing to do even if the rookie outperforms the vet in camp. Let the vet get in there..take the early lumps then the rookie is going to have a lot less pressure when the season is over and fans just sat through the pain of the struggling vet for a few weeks.
  20. Mostly his interviews and comments. He's been much more...brash..this offseason imo. It's similar to many other BB disciples and I don't think it plays well or accomplishes what they think it does.
  21. I know Flores gets a lot of praise for his heroic run to 5-11, but I just don't see it. This offseason has confirmed for me that he's another BB disciple who doesn't understand why BB can do the things he does and get away with it. I don't think they beat the patriots and I think their record is 5-11 again or worse.
