  1. That's a bad situation unless you're going to let your coach have a say in the GM. Otherwise, you just end up with a GM who didn't hire the coach and that tends to be a tough situation to be successful in.. I'm not necessarily against the coach > GM model, but you have to go that route or drop the coach and let the GM hire the coach.
  2. I see we're still freaking out about practice squad players. Very good. Carry on.
  3. The guy just may be the best mullet coach in the NFL
  4. What kind of self esteem problems lead someone to need the Bills to be 'in the national spotlight'?
  5. It's interesting that the league didn't send this out to teams to tell them they would be doing this in the upcoming season. The Bills bet on faster, penetrating lineman who are particularly susceptible to holding and are paying for it big time.
  6. This is a stupid fallacy that some folks around here keep propagating. People see the issues and they're happy with a win. The problem is there's a group of people on here that only see the issues and completely disregard that they won.
  7. I've been a fan of Williamson, but he's been awful this season. Maybe it's a product of the being on the Jets this year, but the idea he's been better than Edmunds is silly and seems soley based on the "Bills players are always the worst in the league!"
  8. There's some obvious trolls that are just allowed carte blanche on these forums for some reason.
  9. If I never see Winters or Klein play another games for the Bills, it will be too soon
  10. I thought he'd go before Sean Connery did. We lost Connery too young...oh, Kerrigan was younger than Connery was? I stand by my statement.
  11. He coming in for a workout...they're not making him a starter. If they signed every player they brought in for a workout, they'd have a like 100 people on the roster. Calm down.
  12. I'm not sure the guy replacing is that much of a downgrade this year.
  13. I agree with you that teams overpay QBs, but the problem is...to replace them...you generally need a top ten pick and some luck that you didn't draft a dud. Otherwise, you're taking a player that has a lot of 'maybes'.
  14. Strange, because jamal got burnt badly in the two games he played. Yes, he makes big hits and you'll hear his name called a couple times a game, but they weren't any better in the two games they had him. So if 2 games is enough to make a judgement on his effect...well then statistically, they've actually improved since he's been out.
  15. His 'crew' if that wasn't clear. Yes, the crew has some changes every year. The same you'd say McDermott's teams take a lot of penalties despite they're being different players. The coach doesn't get the penalty, but if his players change and the result remains the same then it's safe to say there's an influence. So he (and his crew) are consistently at the top of the league in number of flags.
  16. WE GOTTA SIGN HIM THOUGH! He's a DE (I think) so obviously he would solve the defensive line issues!
  17. It's pointless knowing how many penalties are called in these 2 games with this crew without knowing the rest. Week 1 (Jets): 7 for 80 yards Week 2 (Dolphins): 6 for 55 yards Week 3 (Rams): 5 for 55 yards Week 4 (Raiders): 5 for 81 yards Week 5 (Titans): 10 for 56 yards Week 6 (Chiefs): 4 for 39 yards Week 7 (Jets): 11 for 106 yards In addition, Info on Cheffers is needed. In 7 games, he leads all officials in calling 117 penalties. No other referee is above 100 (next closest in 96). I don't feel like digging into it deeper for his history, but suffice it to say that at a glance, Cheffers is always high up on the the list for most penalties called.
  18. Well, he's awful so I didn't want him, but now I'd be ok with it.
  19. Not being able to spell the name of the player you're clamoring for is a pretty good sign: 1. You've never actually seen the player play 2. You lack attention to detail
