  1. I've said they're doing edge rusher early. Edge and CB are both high paid positions that tend to have disappointing results in free agency. Those are high value positions to draft because of the disparity in return if you 'hit' on a draft pick versus a free agent
  2. How many times will Bridgewater be replaced by Darnold in his career? The counter is currently at 2
  3. Developing the players you have drafted is the difficult part.
  4. Ah, yes, the Robert Saleh is likely to be the next Parcells who had a history of turning around teams. Those guys are a dim a dozen in the league. Sound reasoning.
  5. We'll see. I'm not very high on Douglas and Saleh's defense has struggled against top offenses. I wasn't impressed with him brining in next to zero head coaching experience. Not a fan of a 1st time head coach with 1st time coordinators.
  6. All the draft ammo and they probably take another #3/4 receiver with hamstring problems. The Jets are last in the division for a reason. Miami and NE are both tougher challenges now and in the foreseeable future.
  7. Wow, that's a LOT to give up for a backup QB who isn't very good.
  8. my niner friend knocked himself into a coma because he got so excited at the thought of getting Garoppolo off the team
  9. I will trade you my used insoles for $1000 which is a better deal than Garoppolo for a 1st
  10. The team isn't in debt, the Family Trust which owns part of the team is..
  11. Completely ignoring that the NFL can actually force a sale under certain conditions...long before it ever got to that point, the Pegulas would sell the team from the pressure of the other owners. Just like they can move your desk to the basement at work and fix the glitch on your paycheck. If you can't figure it out, please remain the running the joke of this board then.
  12. I'm not claiming *he* will threaten or want to move the team. All indications are that *he* isn't really interested in building a new stadium or doing the major renovations to the existing one, but if *he* doesn't do something then it eventually won't be up to *him*.
  13. Why are you such a dimbulb? What did your parents do to you? We're all really tired of having to explain simple concepts to you while you run around here claiming to be smrt.
  14. Exactly. My concern with the downtown thing is that what gets talked about is what it would do for downtown, not what it would do for the experience at the stadium. I think there's benefits and detractions to the game experience by being downtown, but they've never seemed like a major concern when a downtown stadium is talked about. There's also that looming question of, is it really that great to have a massive plot of land that doesn't do anything for the vast majority of the year in the middle of a city?
  15. I don't think they have much choice. I believe the NFL is pushing hard for them to get a more modern stadium. So the question is should the team move or should they get get a new stadium/update the existing? There is no option C. "leave it alone".
  16. The only reason for Darnold and the word "scare" to be used together is because of all the ghosts that follow him around.
  17. I was still calling it Rich stadium up until like a month ago when I moved on to The Ralph. So sometime in the 2030s I'll worry about this name.
  18. Ya don't say? I wonder if he was hurt and like wearing a body brace or something for those next few games.
  19. I think we just call it "Natural Selection" here
  20. I like how Winning was the most important thing statement from you for Jordan is now "Winning was just as important as money". How the hell do you know that Jordan would have conceptually sacrificed money for winning.. when he didn't do that? -- As for Brady, now we have the exception that proves the rule... We won't even get into the investment into outside business from kraft.
  21. When did Jordan ever sacrifice money for 'winning' like you claim? He held the record for the most money for 15 years which is unheard of.. Jordan may have liked winning a great deal, but your claim he sacrificed money for it is not accurate. The ranking position of Brady's salary. Was he the 10th highest paid QB in each of those years? 5th? How did you not get that?
  22. True, not many out there who can fit that much in their mouth
  23. Their trade to move back seemed good to me...to move up again was a head scratcher. If you're not picking a QB...who are you targeting there?
