PFF grades are dumb. They openly admit they use factors that aren't related to what happened on the field.

There's another thread on it He hasn't been good against the run and the speculation is that he was released because he's so bad against the run.

Reading the seahawks forums.. they don't have any more info, but seem to think it's play related despite being surprised they'd just cut him. They feel like he was problems against the run and getting taken out of position too easily. I remember before our game there were quite a few on here pumping Dodson and how he was playing so well for the hawks.

I guess you could argue Rodgers has been so bad at times that he's overpaid, but he's one of the lowest paid starting QBs in the league in 2024. If we're talking about 2024 only. The problem with his contract is the cap hit is problematic going forward due to all the void years.

It still is a rebuild year.

My personal feeling is that the shorter passing game and less running takes longer for Josh to start "feeling it".

I don't get why you wouldn't roll Josh out right and let him have an opportunity to run for it if it's there.

I don't think so. Mara said Daboll and Schoen are coming back next season. It didn't really seem like the kiss of death type of statement so barring an absolute mutiny by the players.. I don't think it happens. They seem on board to let Schoen and Daboll draft a QB and try again.

I thought it would happen at the bye week before the season, but I don't think it will. Lost in the safety play is he was pretty bad last year.. like almost Poyer levels of bad. His value was in his on the field ability to diagnose and get other players into position. I don't think that's the Bills problem on defense right now.. they lack physical attributes and Hyde doesn't have those anymore.
