Cooper gives us more of something we lacked than Hopkins did. That's not to say Hopkins wouldn't help. I think Hopkins gives the Chiefs more of something they needed.
All this information is coming from an article that is poorly sourced and seems like a PR piece for Joe Douglas.
Why would Johnson want Rodgers benched then turn around and be the driving force of acquiring Adams for Rodgers just a couple weeks later?
They already did that. Double was quiet fired for some time, but the Jets found out that potential GM candidates won't talk to them when they still have a GM on staff
He was apparently already looking at real estate in Baltimore like a week ago
Given that maps that gets thrown around for NFL fandom around the globe.. I'd say it's incredibly likely the Bills play in mainland Europe
That Bills / KC game sure seems like gold for the NFL, right?
The Dolphins and NE believe they have a top QB already.
The 2025 season will be a tank season for the Jets. The bill for their "superbowl" roster is due and they further exasperated the issue with kicking Rodgers money down the line. If a QB isn't there (and it seems unlikely).. I suspect they take the best player and will roll with some flavor of Tyrod Taylor and Jordan Travis while getting into the Manning sweepstakes.
Don't forget Carter.
Beane deserves that credit too. Rookies are contributors, the balls to pull the trigger on the Diggs trade, then going and getting cooper. He's done well.
It's not the Chiefs, but if you want to further clown on the Jets.. they also cut Austin Seibert just before the season who went to the commanders and was having a really great season for them while Zuerlein was a disaster.
