I didn't see this posted yet in any of the topics regarding Bill Cowher, but , towards the end of the CBS pregame show , when asked if Cowher will be back in the studio next year , his response was "Probably". Take that for what you will , just thought it was post-worthy.

I've really like what I've seen outta T.O. this year. From the outside looking in , he has been team player and when given the opportunity to contribute , he has. He is not a cancer. He is more of a realist in my eyes. I believe we need more players like T.O. Players who will not accept mediocrity and demand the best out of his teammates. I think its safe to say that we can all agree that T.O. has done an admirable job of keeping his composure , having to deal with TE's horrible play. If it were up to me , I would resign him for the next 2 years.

Exactly. Cowher has had some success in Pittsburgh , but you cannot overlook the fact that he has always had a stellar supporting cast. Although he would definitely be an upgrade over Jauron and the other coaching busts we've had the last decade , Shanahan is the way to go. His annual excellence in his running game has me drooling at the possibilities having Lynch and FJ running wild in November and December. Shanahan or bust!

I say sign him if possible. Buffalo needs to be a power running team. We get 2 starting RB's in Lynch and Jackson , a line with a somewhat bright future , and a pretty good set of possession receivers in Evans , Reed , and potentially Hardy/Johnson. Add Vick to the mix , with his undeniable playmaking abilities , and I believe this team would be well on path back to the playoffs. Vick SINGLE HANDIDLY took ATL to the NFC title game. He had pretty much a very weak supporting cast. I can't think of one player on offense they had that year that is significantly contributing to a team this year. Insert Vick onto the Bills next year (minues Jauron and most likely TO) and the possibilities of a Vick-led offense running wild next year is very exciting.

You would think that TE would come into this game with a "nothing to lose" mentality and not try to protect the ball as much as he has this season. But I highly doubt it. We're gonna see the good ol' TE whos afraid to pull the trigger and will much rather opt for a 3 yard check down instead of taking a chance and throwing it up and try to let our receivers make a play.

If we sign Vick..to me its just another ploy by the FO to sell hope to the Bills fans..im sick of buying the hype...we need to blow the team up .. get a guy who knows how to build a team top to bottom and do it right finally. Im sick of taking other teams unwanted trash and allowing Ralph and his cronies to shove it down our throats as some sort of miracle cure for a team that has been in constant dysfunction for the last decade.

Why do you ( and others with similar posts ) insist on posting on the board? I don't get it. The Bills won two in a row and you have to find some way or another to shred the team. Why don't you go post on the 'Fins board and talk about how great it is to have Fergie as your owner.

If Trent Edwards wasn't knocked out , we don't win this one. Fitz may not have the strongest arm , but at least he's more than willing to take some shots and get the ball into our WR's hands unlike Trent. Sloppy football , but overall exciting to the end.

Anyone see T.O. trying to pump up the Jets crowd? Only a matter of time before this guy blows a gasket. He's too much of a competitor not to. BTW...With Trent Edwards suffering another concussion and most likely be out for a minimum of 2 games, maybe the Bills should go out and try to trade for QB. What about Culpepper? He's got an arm and could do something with this offense and we could get him cheap.

I say grab McCoy if he's available. He's the prototypical NFL quarterback. But if he's not there when we pick I would be as happy as a pig in sh*t if we take Tebow. The kid is tough,smart,and a WINNER! Either one would definitely get us headed in the right direction, but I hope we get McCoy. (not just because he's got a cool name)

Trading T.O. now would be the stupidest move of the year in my opinion. It would deflate the team even more than it already is (imagine that for a second). I know I'll get bashed for saying this , but its not totally out of the realm of possibility that the Bills can turn this around and get to 10-6..look at the schedule. Remember the year Bledsoe & Co. brought us to within a win of the playoffs until we blew it against the Steelers backups? It can be done.

Henne looks exactly like he should in his first start...confused and overwhelmed...Lynch looks amazing so far..Playcalling on offense however is horrible...Its so frustrating to see Jauron attempt to be a professional head coach..he just can't do it..I say just let Trent call the plays and let the chips fall where they may.

Just a thought...could trading simpson and subsequently freeing up a roster spot , be a sign that Bills could be bringing in Adam Jones? I say why not bring him in, we already rolled the dice on T.O.

I know i'll be ridiculed and possibly banned from TBD..but I truly believe that Tom Brady is hands-down the Best Quarterback ever to play in the NFL. Montana is not even close.

I would love it if in the next CBA , the owners and NFLPA could address this issue with unproven rookies holding out deep into training camp, hurting the team and the players themselves. IMO, the best way to deal with it would be to cap rookie salaries. For example , players taken the first 3 rounds should have a ceiling on the amount of money they could sign for based on which round they were taken in , and backload it with performance incentives ( games played,sacks,receptions,etc.) I know its a pipedream and the NFLPA would never go for it but I think it would be an improvement over the current system of unproved kids holding out for millions. But hey, I would hold out too.

I really don't think the original poster thought his simple post would be disected and ridiculed by some loafer wearing a**hole. Why couldn't he offer his insight on the subject of the post in as much depth as he did on the writers use of English?
